Help cant send chocobos to the stalls...

as the title states, whenever i ask the guy to send one to the stalls, even the great ones dont go in there... i follow all of the directions on the screen, but nothing happens. anyone have this problem?
 
You've bought the stables, caught a chocobo, got off it selected send to stable and they aren't going there?
 
maybe they're full?
Should go check that, if they're not, I don't know.
 
I dont think they go direct to the stables, so if the enclosure is full, you won't be able to send anymore, you're going to have to release afew by the sounds of it

well what im talking about is when hte pen outside is full and i want to send one to the stables for breeding, nothing happens. He just tells me if its a good chocobo or not and when i try to hit the button to send to the stable... nothing
 
I'm here to help

You can only catch up to four chocobos at a time. After that select which ones you want to keep and which to let loose. After that you can only keep 6 in the stables in the building, four in the fence outside. So go to chocobo bill and tell him you want to release some then try again.

6 in the building (as long as you bought all the stables).
4 in the fence.
 
i didnt know you can release them. how do i do that? I tried putting some good ones in the stables. the kid tells me "which one do you want to put in?" I select the one I want and hit "O", but nothing happens after that, cuz when i ask about mating, he says the stables are empty... I cant breed or feed without any in the building....

It is not to late to breed and race. When tslking to choco bill there will be a release option then sellect the one you want to release.
 
Do you have the default controls? Or did you change it in the config settings etc so that "x" was the main enter button?

I did that on my second playthrough and it created problems when I got to the Chocobo Stables as anything within that black screen with the chocobos to select couldn't actually be selected. It was some sortof glitch or something. So I changed to controller settings back to "O" as the action button whenever I went to the stables for anything.

Perhaps that might be it?

If not then that is really bizzare and I've not heard of that before. Normally you can just select a chocobo to put into the stables or release them etc quite easily.

Releasing Chocobos

The button glitch is probally it.

there are three places in the area. Two bulidings, one on the left and one on the right. Also the Fence for captured chocobos. Go to the building on the left and talk to the man there and see if you can buy anymore stables. Once you buy them go and find some chocobos near mideel. Send them to the ranch.

After that go to the right building in the ranch and talk to bill. But first make sure the controler is on defalt settings, not your customized. Here you can send birds in the stables or set them free.
