Help Can't enter ultimecia portal...

Hey there, I just finished disc 3, and I made my way to Ultimecia's castle. I took the portal in the middle, and did some stuff in the 'normal' world. However, I can't seem to take the portal ride back to Ultimecia's castle... Anyone has any idea how to fix this?

I think you may have to open each door. Like jump through one then go back in then to the next. However if you have tried all the doors then it could be a glitch. Do you have a save spot on Disk Three?

I used a save from disc 3, and went straight to finishing the game
Still have no idea what caused the problem though...
