Peer pressure is just Pressure to someone around your age it happens for fun sometimes other times for bad intentions.

Because they think if they dont do something there social status will be damaged and this is the only way to keep it up.

5. I think that it is very idiotic and only creates stupid and immature problems with teenagers.

6. People want to be accepted, they want to be "loved". They feel as though they need to become involved sexually or with drug use to have fun, have relationships with the opposite sex, and make friends.

well, it depends on the thing. If it's good, then the peer pressure is good. If it's a bad thing, the peer pressure is bad.

Depends what the desired result is, my answers refer to like asking someone to go somewhere with me so I don't have to walk by myself, and when they say no, I turn on the pressure. It's not always a bad thing, helps you overcome certain things, but at the sametime can cause massive regret.

6. Why do you think most teens give into peer pressure (mainly drugs or sex)?
Because deep down, they realy want to explore said sex or drugs, normally though, what you can be pressured into as a teen is easily undone.

I think Peer Pressure is extremely strong in today's society, with everyone sleeping around and doing drugs/alcohol to fit in, if they do not, they feel left out, or less "Cool"

6. Why do you think most teens give into peer pressure (mainly drugs or sex)?
Because they want to fit into the young person's perspective of "cool." So they can be like all of the other people who sleep around and do drugs.

Don't particularly like it, but I guess it's kinda inevitable. And sometimes you are pressuring others, but you don't realise it. Nothing really bad about it, just unfortunate.

I just think that there's really not much you can do about it. Often it's subconsciously. I guess it's just to be part of the group.
