Okay guys, I've been kicking the idea of a RPG starring everyone's favorite heroine, and now the ability is in my reach!
Unfortunately, I have no talent for creating graphics from scratch. That's where you guys come in!

I am asking anyone that is interested to create sprites of Freya, Fratley, and any other nezumi character (sample), as well as battle pics(sample), and emotives (used in general conversation, head and shoulders only) also, tilesets are welcome, but not necessary. (sample)
perhaps we can actually get this thing off the ground

And thanks for the link, I can use it for ideas, but I'm still looking for interested artists. Unfortunately, the only payment would be a pat on the back, a mention in the readme, and my semi-eternal gratitude :D
 
oooh, I can help! just give me a PM, or post back here! Ive always wanted to work with someone on RPG Maker, just unfortunetly, i always end up making them myselves
anyways, i can work with any type of RPG maker so it dosent matter ;) hope we work together
 
YAY! Someone actually reads these posts! Any help that you can give would be swell, but I particularly need three things:
Burmecia tilesets
FFIX style monsters and,
Nezumi NPC's(including said 'emotes'; think Harvest Moon)

I'm hopeless at making images from scratch . . .
(btw, I use RPGM XP)
 
ahh i have RMXP, i have mostly resourced for RPG maker 2003, all sprites from FF1 - VI so ill look for FFIX, do you use MSN, we could like chat about it therE ?

Burmecia is a town/country in FFIX. Unfortunately, while I do have MSN, I won't be able to sign on until tomorrow at the earliest.

dosent matter, the good thing is that no need for programming or anything, anyone can easily be good, the more creative you are, the better
 
Okay then, I guess I'll list what's on the agenda for this project:

1) (most important)__storyline__
2) basic map layout/events
3) character graphics
4) tileset? (optional, but helpful)
5) ??? suggestions?

so I guess the first thing: should this take place before, during or after FFIX?
 
I havent really played FFIX yet... so i can work on basic map layouts, characters, weapons, animations, events, tilesets etc....
 
I think I can get some help/ideas writing a story from some friends in another forum, so I'll handle that. I might also work on a bit of map layout, just because I can :D
