If you don't have high enough EVA compared to the opponent's DEX, it is completely useless, that's the downside. If you keep getting hit, it doesn't do any good, so I want to make sure I get my EVA up good. :P
 
Warning EVA tends to fail a lot if opponents STR is really high. Another down side to EVA. While DEF usually works if it remains higher than STR of opponents. So basically you need them both to be good. Just having good EVA and poor DEF will tend to get you clobbered with high STR's. Even if the opponents DEX is lower.
 
Imma think I'm going to replace my Mage's Garb with Dark Mithril Mail (+10 DEF). >.>

But it seems pointless to raise both stats a bunch, and it takes away from how high other stats go. DX

:eek:rly: Bah! Preposterous! Damon's spells were god like and my MAG DEF is only like 20 and still whooped his ass.
 
Well, that was...lucky? Nah, I do think it won't be the end of the world if one doesn't have really high MAG DEF, because with bad luck, which I have, you can still take pretty much the same amount of damage sometimes anyways. >.>'

I try to raise it some though, can't stand for it to be below 50...and 50 just looks good, so yeah. :P
 
Do you really mean the actual Death spell? O_O I saw some Test Death spell, but it doesn't appear to do anything, everything is "N/A", does it do anything? Same with Test Anti-Death. :wacky:
