Anime Blood+

one of my favorite shows.

Blood+ is about a girl named Saya who lead a normal life w/ her adopted family. One day, after track practice, she remembers she forgot her shoes at school.
While getting her shoes, she gets attacked by a grotesque creature called a chiropteran. She then is paved by a young man named Haji.

There's a lot more to the story. It's probably on it's 50th episode, or close. I think it's worth my 30min of my time.

There are so many spinoffs to the movie. I like this manga spinoff, Blood the Last Vampire, better (although it's too short):

http://mangarun.com/blood-the_last_vampire/ (don't read if you aren't able to stomach gore)

I do like the fact that Blood+ at least gives Saya some personality.

I read the prequel manga which had a lot of fan service ;)

yeah, I didn't really bother to look if one already existed.

I love this show, and somehow, I even got my mom watching, lol.
Hey, does the Schiff remind anyone of Orginization 13?

I honestly enjoyed watching this anime though there were times in which I felt that some episodes were quite repetitive. Anyhow, Blood+ has great characters and a good plot, the main conflict Saya has to endure is good enough to brake anyone's will if we were to pass through the same situation.

My favorite characters were Hagi, Solomon Goldsmith and Amshel Goldsmith. Solomon was just too devoted to his own honor and feelings, his heart governs his actions most of the time like when he
switched sides, betraying Diva and becoming Saya's self proclaimed Chevalier
for love. Hagi was an excellent character, greatly devoted to Saya and her protection. Amshel was a great antagonist, his cruelty and selfishness knows no boundaries and he even
experimented with Diva and Saya for his own personal gain. He also killed many others to please Diva's desire. On a side note, it is great to know that he was with Joel (the original Joel) when they first found the twins Diva and Saya, if my memory doesn't fails me.

that's pretty much how I remember it. Of course, unlike some people, I haven't seen the whole series yet.

No one's answered my previous question, which I'm not bitchin' about...

... ... ... ... ...

 ANSWER THE DAMN QUESTION!!!

sorry 'bout that. I don't know what came over me...

About your question....here's what I think.

Probably because:
A) They are not totally complete, much like "Nobodies.

B) They wear black robes and work in secrecy, similar to how the Organization XIII works.

o_O I didn't think about the 'not complete' thing...how did I let that fly past me?

Oh, you forgot about the weird names and the unique weapons.
