One of Guns N' Rose new singles called Better, is probably their best song on their new album. But IMO that's not much of an accomplishment. Their newest album Chinese Democracy just seems like a disgrace to me. It feels like since Slash left the whole band has gone to shit. I hate their new album, and they're doing stuff, that is just not reminiscent of GNR. Should've just changed the name to Axel Rose Project, it just puts shame to the Gun's N' Roses name. Spread your opinion on the matter. If you haven't heard their new album, i suggest you listen to a few songs to get your own opinion, BUT I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING IT!

I've said this plenty of times on various forums. In my opinion, the album is good. Not totally amazing but it is a good album. The fact that A) This album has been in the works for 15 years and B) Axl Rose is the only member from the original (or most well known) line-up leaves a bad taste. Some of the songs on the album have been around since the beginning of Chinese Democracy which does make the album feel a bit dated. I enjoyed the album but really you think "15 years for this?".

I like the album and all the songs on it, but I can't really comment on whether they've got better or worse since I've only really started listening to them since the new stuff apart from the odd one or two of their more famous songs. I can sorta agree with people though that they shoulda renamed the band since nearly all the members have left...much like "Queen + Paul Rodgers", without Mercury, it's not really Queen and they should renamed =/
Better sounds like a bad Linkin Park parody and Chinese Democracy is a horrible album on a whole mess of different levels. It's like a mix between all the bad elements from the Use Your Illusion albums and 10 years' worth of different music industry fads.

Gun 'n' Roses were always shit to begin with. Yeah they had a very good debut album but afterwards they were rubbish! and Chinese Democracy is just Axl Pose and friends looking for money. Utter garbage tbh..
Chinese Democracy had a few good tracks, but it was pretty shit in comparison to the early GNR albums. I probably wouldn't take notice of how shit Chinese Democracy is, if it didn't take Axl like 15 years to release it. The fact that the album took so long to be released made the failure much more epic.
