Best/Worst Cid

I've honestly always liked all the Cids, I just find it interesting where I'll find him next! My fave would have to be VII although, mainly again because it was my first FF, and because of that hold it closer to my heart.
 
My favorie Cid is definently Cid from VII. He is one of my favorite characters in VII and he cracked me up several times through the game. He was also a great attacker and his limit breaks rocked. I always use him in the final battle and I even used him to defeat Ruby weapon a few times.

The worst Cid has to be the one from VI. He was completely pointless and random. The story wouldn't have changed at all if he weren't in it. But every FF needs a Cid. Maybe if he actually owned or built an air ship he could have worked, but no he had an almost pointless role in the overall story. Also, I hate that rain coat thing he wears.
 
best is FF XII Cid and the worst is FF III Cid mostly cause he is really old and is nothing like the other Cids. when i first saw him i thought, omg this cant be cid
 
I like the FFVII and FFXI Cids. I think they are both funny, and i like the way cid is a frog and oglop in FF XI.
 
FFVII had the best Cid. He had the funniest redneck personality out of them all. lol.

FFVIII's cid was a pussy if you know what I mean.
FFIX's cid was pretty tight.
FFX's cid didn't have enough camera time.
FFXII's cid was the enemy...which I didn't like. o_O
 
I liked all the cid's cept in X they tried bringing back the redneck voice and it didnt work at least not for me
 
If any one of you ever played Tactics, you would say Cidolfus is the best. At least if you like the Auron type characters, which most people do. He was really a cool character. And it was awesome that out of all the corruption and manipulation that was going on, there was one person who didn't have anything to do with it.

As for the worst Cid, I don't really hate any particular one... but I didn't like Mid in FFV. Cause that's just dumb.
 
Definitely Cid from VII for me. He was such a badass, which I liked. :) He cursed so much, kinda made me laugh.

Worst one...um, I'd have to go with VIII. He didn't really feel like a Cid to me, IMO. Reminds me of a weakling, lol.

I forgot who the Cid was in FFX. =/ Someone refresh my memory.

And in XII...he was ok, I guess.
 
The best Cid? XII's of course. He had such an amazing character, he was quirky, and different from the generic Cids from previous games.

Thanks to the Compilation, I now officially hate the VII Cid.

I was sick of seeing Cid as a "good guy" - and boy did I love the change they made ;D
 
What is he like? I have no idea about what goes on in XI.
 
Ohh, good point. XI's Cid was quite good. You'd be most familiar with him as a native Bastokan.
 
How about the MIA Cid from I that was only mentioned as the first person to build an airship but never scene. He was mentioned in the GBA version at least. I'm not sure about the original NES release.
 
My pick for best Cid is obviously FFVII's potty-mouthed ill-tempered pilotman. Actually a playable member of your main party, and the life of the profanity club, man this guy rocks!

Worst Cid...either FFVI's or FFVIII's. I'd probably go with FFVIII's though because he just didn't seem like a Cid to me. More of like a Doctor Doolittle.

FFVI's Cid was a Rubber Ducky sprite. Very weird.
