If its FFXIII, it can't be good.
A really biased vote, honestly. I voted Spirit Shards because I had the most fun in it, as opposed to Children of Aether. Never read, or participated in the FFXIII role-play though.
I went with Children of Aether here. It's a very good RP, and it's inspired me to continuing RPing. For a while there, I was thinking about quitting because too many RPs felt as if they were just... the same ol' stuff. Then CoA comes along and makes shit fun again. I have fun posting in it, and I enjoy it. So, all in all, out of the list, I'm voting for that one all the way. 
Also, torture scenes. None of this Mary-Sue, Joe Everyman, every-move-is-a-dodge, or super overpowered bullshit. There is intrigue, planning ahead, well thought out sequences, active plotting and collaboration, character development, interesting backstories, tear jerking moments, triple crossing, quadruple revenge, "d'aww" moments, well scripted fights, well scripted dialogue, great posts, descriptive as fuck detail, etc.
Everything else is smalltime.
