i didnt like any of the movie battles none of the cooler force powers were used such as force fire balls or tornados earthquakes avalanges. mainly lightning was used but the best of them was obi wan vs anakin
i would definitely say obi-wan and qui-gon vs. darth maul. darth maul almost takes them both by himself, plus the whole double-sided lightsabre is just awesome.
Obi-Wan vs. Anakin is probably the best since I always wanted to see how the old man took Anakin down.
My other favorite would be Obi-Wan & Qui-Gon Jin (my favorite Jedi) VS Darth Maul, not to mention the music throughout the entire battle. The second best, in my opinion.
The ESB lightsaber fight. I found it to be the most memorable of them all, especially because we pretty much knew that Luke was no match for Vader, and you can't forget the little twist at the end...
I'm going to go with Obi-Wan vs. Anakin, solely because that was the most dramatic part of the movie. These newer Star Wars movies lack the feeling that past episodes had; the actors never really seemed to do anything other than speak their lines.
But this battle, as Anakin burns with raged eyes and Obi-Wan grieves with "why!? Your were supposed to be the chosen one!" was the one place where they actually showed they could act. The feelings these expressed seemed natural, and was a satisfying end to the episode.
There were a few moments in the Obi-Wan/Anakin battle that I did find somewhat believable and reputable but overall I found it to be just as cheesy as the rest of the prequel trilogy.
I definitely went with the Luke vs. Vadar / Palpatine. I don't like all the fancy choreographed shit, I like good ol' fashioned hacking and slashing and it was far more of an emotional scene for me.
My vote goes to Obi-wan VS Anakin. I'm much of a fan of episode three but this is one of the best fights in my opinion. Yoda vs Sidious was great in episode three as well.
