First make sure that you have Zombie Ward on all of your armor if not, he'll tear a hole in your face :gasp:. Make sure your starting party is Tidus, Yuna and Auron, with Lulu switched in later. (I can't stress enough how important Auron is for this when he's beefed up. Also, Lulu is particularly important for her Bio spell. Make sure that both of them are VERY strong). Now make sure that ALL of your Aeons have their overdrives then start the battle. First use Tidus to cast Haste on Yuna then have Yuna use all of her Aeon's overdrives. On Tidus's turn switch to Lulu and use Bio on Seymour because he can be poisoned easily. With Auron beefed up real high, he can cause serious damage. Once you have used all of your Aeons he should be down to around 10000-2000 hp. After this happens, the rest is just a breeze. Healing is really important in this part, even though it's important overall. Once you beat him you get a shit load of AP and you get a LV.4 keysphere. Good luck. :woot:

IMO Aeon spam is a bit of a cop out, tbh. It's not as rewarding and is quite simply, the easy way out.

Although I would recommend it to those who are struggling with SF. I'd say ths same with Yunalesca since most people have trouble with her, although I don't know how. I've fought her many times in many playthroughs and haven't been Game Over'd once by her. But the Spectral Keeper.. that's another story. I think he's MUCH harder.

In fact, don't do any of that. Lol, sounds a bit more effort went into this battle then it did with mine.

Stick with Yuna, Kimahri, and Auron on your team. If someone gets zombified, just heal em with Holy Water. Train Auron up strength wise, seriously - when I fought Flux 3rd time round (3rd file), He was doing 7500+ HP damage. What made things better were that he had a weapon equipped with Counter. So, at one time, he could do a total of something like 140000 worth of damage. Use a few Aeon overdrives, especially Bahamuts seeing as it does Break Damage Limit already - at least 20000 HP when I used Mega Flare. Use Yojimbo too, if lucky, he could use several good moves before being banished. That's pretty much it, didn't even do any switching, Cleave was avoided too. No need to use too many Aeons, kinda fail really. I did power up an awful lot during Malboro hunting in the Calm Lands, which is probably why I breezed past this guy.

Speaking of Yunalesca, I made a lovely error of not leaving one person in Zombified mode once I got to the 3rd form..

Well hey, it's my first guide and I finally beat him using this strategy. So come on, you've gotta give me SOME credit here. At least the zombie ward part was good. And the Bio from Lulu. xD

Haha, I ain't dissing you, it's a good guide, didn't realise you could use Bio on him!

I don't often use Lulu in boss battles, unless the boss is weak against a particular element.

or just make sure you level in gagaset then do what you want as its extremly easy :P i kept killing him by accident as i wanted an overkill :P

Lol i think my way is the EASIEST. -cough cough- CodeBreaker -cough cough-

Not all of us cheat our way through tough battles. We train, and come up with tips and hints like this. And while I'm here, make your posts longer please, thanks.

....Why the heck are overkill's so special to people?!

For one I could think of the extra AP, though of course when you did what I did and was just so ridicuosly over powered it doesnt make much of a diffrence. Especially when your overkilling about everything except the last couple of boss's. Though having the posionward on all armorms and with high defence, I just laughed at his attacks. I just built up all my characters overdrives minus the aeons and let loose on him.
