Well I haven't seen a thread created on this completely, totally and utterly AWESOME show! I got addicted to watching it on Nicklelodeon at times but I missed quite a bit of episodes.

My husband finally bought me the whole first book (season 1) on DVD and I must say...DAMN what an amazing storyline! At first I really didn't like Zuko, but now I've come to realize that I do like and all he wants out of his father is just respect. So, which of you guys have watched this and do you like it? Discuss ^_^
 
I love this show!!! I used to watch it everyday, and I'm waiting for the next season to come out since I've probably seen every episode at least 3 times, but I think it is a really good show.
 
I absolutly love this show! the last episode i saw was when
Azula took over bar sing sei and she and zuko teamed up with the earth benders to defeat Aang and katara
and i loved how katara rescued Aang at the end - it was so Sweet <3

I want aang and katara to get together sooo much!!

I also love toph - the fact that shes blind but can still kick ass makes her pwn.
 
Toph rocks my stripey socks off! That girl is flat out awesome. I loved how she could tell if one person was lying or telling the truth. Azula....I REALLY HATE HER :dry:

I remember when Zuko teamed up with Azula but I know that Zuko was just aching to be accepted. Did you ever watch the episode called "Zuko Alone" That explains a lot about Zuko's past. *sighs* ^_^ *is a major Zuko fangirl

I do really adore Katara and I've loved
watching her and Aang fall in love. Did you also see the episode where Aang tried to master the Avatar state but he couldn't because he loved Katara too much? When his mentor tried to make him let go of his love for Katara he just couldn't.
 
Avatar...ahh, this show, yes. My siblings watch it all the time and I'd always switch the channel on them. ^_^ They would always talk about it with their friends. Hmm, is it really good? I saw some parts of it, and I must admit the drawings look pretty good for an American cartoon. And I realize that the kids aren't the only ones who watch this show. O.O Teenagers and adults too. So it must be good...
 
Toph is definitly my favorite I love her attitude! The last episode of the season though really dissapointed me.

I was hoping to see Zuko turn good instead of teaming up with Azula, expecially what started going on between him and Katara when they were trapped together. But maybe there is still a chance for it
 
That scene of Katara and Zuko using the healing water, I truly thought she was going to remove his scar and that Zuko had came to his senses, but also in the end, even when Zuko teamed up with Azula, didn't she betray him yet again? I can't remember =/ and I really thought Aang was going to die in that last episode T.T

Another character I love is Sakka!! He's so fucking hilarious I swear I laugh everything I watch just about any scene with him. I love it when he and Momo get trippy on cactus juice xD
 
that bit were Sokka and momo got high off cactus juice was definatly my favourite Sokka moment - i also found it funny how pink and swollen all the characters cheeks became XD

but i felt really sorry for aang in that episode because he thought that he was never going to see

again :(
 
I really want Sakka and Toph to hook up. You know Toph has a major crush on Sakka, but doens't look like Sakka has a clue at all.

I'm kinda mad though that the third season hasn't started yet, I'm kinda hope that it aires sometime in April, but we can only hope. I think they're even thinking of a movie Trilogy based on the show, well, from what I've read at wikipedia

I just KNOW, I KNOOOW that Prince Zuko's uncle will be Aang's firebending teacher! I KNOwww it!
 
That was such a weird dream too!!! I could waterbend and airbend, and Aang was my lover, not hers!

I wonder what is going to happen to Zuko's uncle now that he's captured by the fire nation, and what he feels toward Zuko

I love love love love Uncle!! He's so cute I wish I could just jump through the screen and pinch his fat cheeks. No matter what he does there is always something about him that makes me laugh. I love his and Zuko's bond as well and I love how he tells Zuko that he thinks of him as "his own"

Oh yes this show is great, The storyline, the character development, the fact that the character use "real" martial arts combine with elemental powers (bending), the humor, all of this show is great, I dare to compare it to the animes Naruto and Bleach (before the fillers, cause girl those sucked!, the fillers I mean)

I can assure you that you will not regret to start watching this animated cartoon

To answer your question
Azula didn't betrayed Zuko at the end of season two, she just told him, that now he had restore his own honor or something, though she may betray him in the future, after all she is a psicoty bitch

The funny part is, in Escape from the Spirit World
Avatar Yangchen tells Aang that the point of the Avatar being human, was so he could espirience all humans emotions, so he could understand humans, this seems a little contradictory to what Pathick said

Oh I also, I don't know if some of you haven't played "Escape from the Spirit World" but if you haven't click in the link and play. This Flash game is set after
Aang gets hit by Azula's lighting, now he is trapped in the Spirit World and most find the four past avatars in other to escape
and is all cannonical.

Yep, Aang is a powerful bender, and he
has a killer crush on Katara
BUT...at the END of the last season
Katara has a cute moment with Zuko...and afterwards when they are all fighting, Aang decides to release all of his chakras...including letting go of Katara, since that's what the Guru told him to do.
