In the Shoutbox, I think the automatic messages announcing how many posts people have are getting on everyone's nerves. Typically the message goes off four times (like it did for Cerridwen and S), perhaps because their most recent posts are in forums where there is no post count, so while they have 199 posts and keep posting there, it keeps declaring that they have 200 or 1700 or whatever the number is. Is there a way to turn this feature off in the Shoutbox?

Also, there's a funny message that says *<username> has hit puberty!*. What does that mean? xD

its doing my head in aswel, altho its funny watching people talk to themselves, like when I hit my last 2 round numbers it came up twice -_-

When I first noticed it i thought i was losing my mind :wacky:

Hey it's really important that everyone knows that I got 1700 posts! :neomon:
Kidding kidding, don't hurt me! =(

Think that feature should be turned off, no offense but I don't really care if someone reaches 400 posts or whatever. Maybe 1000 posts is fine but everyone can tell if you're a senior member or not. PM Lord Golbez about it, I'm sure he can turn off that feature.

I don't think so.... He doesn't tell us much and he's rarely online. :(

Yeah, it's a really annoying feature, and it should be turned off really, since we can check peoples post counts by looking at the statistics.

That, and I don't think anyone likes it being there, so it has to go :monster:

It's really chuffing stupid going off every 5 minutes :wacky: It goes off on a daily basis for me, being the post whore that I am :monster:

jk :wacky:

more like every other day xDDD

Such an automatic message is not tied in with the 'ascension' to a higher usergroup.

The issue was raised in HQ, and LG, I trust, will be addressing it shortly.

I had 750 or so posts one day

the next day, the SB announced that I had 900 posts, and stated that

so. why did I suddenly get a 150 post boost?

The shoutbox has gone altogether now :wacky:

I know we wanted the auto messages gone, but that's abit extreme :monster:
