Anybody want to see Mel Gibson's latest? It looks pretty interesting to me, very different. I enjoyed The Passion, and I thought it being in the original native language was a very nice touch, so hopefully it will be with this one too.

I am thinking about seeing it. I heard it's supposed to be a very bloody and graphic movie. It has gotten decent reviews so far.

I never saw The Passion but I want to. I believe most of the movie is in latin, which would be fun to see if the actors actually speat it correctly.

I definately want to see this. It looks scary as hell though. The make up artists did a great job in making the Mayan warriors look scary as hell. But I don't think I'll be able to see it in theatres (I go to the movies with my dad all the time, and he can't read well, so watching a movie with nothing but subtitles wouldn't be the best idea).

The Passion of the Christ was powerful. I cry through the entire film every time I watch it (and the impact is always there, since I only watch it once a year on Good Friday). Monica Belluci was a wonderful Mary Magdalene (I was VERY stunned to see Monic go from Dracula's Bride to Persephone in the Matrix to Kaileena in Prince of Persia to Mary Magdalene. The woman can ACT.), and the rest of the cast was incredible.

And I know that this is going off topic a bit, but there are people online who say that they hated Passion of the Christ, Braveheart, Apocalypto, and other Mel Gibson films and will never watch another movie of his again because he's an anti-semetic bastard. What does being Anti-Semetic have to do with your ability to make a great film? Hell, Walt Disney was Anti-Semetic and his movies and family films are labeled as masterpieces. That's like me saying that John Wayne is a horrible actor because he discriminated against Native Americans (I'm an Ojibwe Indian, by the way). Sure, that might make him an asshole and I might not like the person, but that doesn't stop the fact that he's a great actor.

Yea It's pretty good, Mel Gipson movies are usually pretty awesome. I did not like the Passion of the Christ though.

i saw the movie but to me it was very stupid becuase you were watching the same thing happen over and over for 2 and a half hours! how much more boaring can you get?

i've seen it too,,,,,, ulg... i saw hearts,,,, pumping.. errgg......

blood...... wwwuuurrrkkk.... just watch it.

Oh, let's get some reviews for this movie, if you've seen it. :O

I loved this movie, though the plot did get a bit repetitive, since it didn't stray too far from the killing and whatnot. It was pretty graphic, I mean the sacrifice thing just had me on the edge of my seat, to be honest. The whole thing was pure suspense, except for the beginning of course. ;)
Kinda reminded me of 300, with killing, killing, and killing.

It was a sad movie, in a way. The mother and child really kept me on the edge of my seat, wondering if they'll live or die. At first it didn't appeal to me, but once the "action" took place in their village, I was intrigued the whole way through the movie. And I agree with Jeremiah...killing, killing, killing. It started to sicken me after awhile, but at least the story was interesting enough.

Watched it last night. I can't tell if I like it or hate it. It's a very emotionally confusing movie.

Yeah, the whole running through the jungles and all that other junk confused me the most. It was just pure adrenaline all the way though. :P

As for the mother and child, I really couldn't say much since I wasn't as emotionally attached to that aspect as the movie might have made me.

lol, yeah, it has to be one of those one-time-only movies that you can't enjoy watching the second time. I mean it's great watching it the first time 'cause you don't know what's coming, but when you're fully informed, it's just...bleh.

I thought as movies go it was alright. Not the greatest, but definitly not the worst. I enjoyed watching it, but like what some of you have said, I don't think I'd want to watch it again for a while. It was actually just a little too gory for me. Thats basically I can remember from the movie is how gory some parts where
