If it wasn't for the border on #1, then I'd vote for it, but seeing how it is there, my vote goes to #2. The lighting was nice, and text was perfectly placed. and overall, I prefer this one much more.

Much clearer than the first.

Lovely placement and lighting on Kate and pretty text to finish it off. =)
