Anyone remember this game?

yea, the final boss was so easy, just cure it to death and it does 9999 to hit minus. and everything :P
 
This game is crap & I blame it for giving me a horrible impression final fantasy. The other games are soooooooooooooo much better its not even funny. worst ff game ever.

Bearing in mind this is one of the REALLY old FF games, so compared to the newer ones, I'm not surprised you wouldn't like it. I myself haven't gotten round to fully playing this game, and I no longer have the ROM for my Emulator to play it. I probably will give it another shot one time, when I get plenty of spare time. (I.e. When my girlfriend goes to Spain at the end of March.)
 
Uh dude, Final Fantasy IV and mystic quest where made around the same time. I've played the first 3 final fantasy & they own all MQ's ass. MQ was like a preschool version of Final Fantasy, thank god Square didn't make a sequel. Now Final Fantasy Adventure was a quality FF game that kick started the mana series(also known as sekien densetu) and was square first attempt at real-time battle and looked very good even though it wasn't in color.
To be total serious I've only played the classic ff games thanx to the wonderful world of emulation. Since when I was young and arrogant I only played Mario & Zelda. Eventually I just said to hell with that and thought i'd give a ff a try. first ff rom, MQ, hated it but I tryed a another one anyway and loved it. That would be ffa or ff4.

I cant believe there are people who never completed Final Fantasy Mystic Quest... o_O;; Dude I finished it 100% with everything in 4 hours...

And the last boss was a joke, 3 cures and the games over...

Though not my first FF... I agree this is like a kindergarten RPG, while the rest are in High School... I dont judge on graphics... only game play and story... My all time fave is FF6 and by todays standards the graphics are very dated but the storyline is intriguing... though FF12 has an equally interesting plot...

But I agree, the battle music was pretty awesome... and my favorite thing was to name my character Kirk because at the end they call you Captain <Character Name>... yes Im a star trek nerd... XD

It was my first FF I've ever played so it has a special place in my heart. It's been a loooong time since I've played it but I think it was good. I don't understand why people think it sucks. It was for beginning gamers who have never played RPGs before...
 
I remember play this game a long time ago. it was kinda fun. right now, iIm borrowing this game from a friend and it brings back memories of the good ol' days when the SNES was popular.

Yeah this was my first Final Fantasy game I ever played, was pretty good, I use to go to a friends house all the time and play Snes Games. We were so hardcore gamers back then it was insane. I'm still a hardcore gamer, but a Computer Gamer. No longer do I play on any Consoles.

I remember this game, kinda went at a different pace than the other Final Fantasy games. A bit weird but cool in a way.
 
i own the cart but havent played it in a quite along time .... i remember it being fun though

Wasn't this game re-released with the name Sword of Mana? I remember downloading a ROM of this game, and then when I started playing it, it was exactly like Sword of Mana, for the GBA.
 
Don't exactly know the remaking it, but I'm sure it's only for the SNES.

This was my 3rd Final Fantasy game, right after FFV and FFX, so I had some high expectations. To say the least, I was surprised. NOt many Random battles, if any, and made me kinda feel wierd while I played it. Like I shouldn't have or something.... But overall, good idea.

This end boss is exactly like Final Fantasy 10's Boss. Easy. As. Hell. 3 cures and it was down on this one, and a zimple Zombie Attack and a bunch o Curaga's... or one for my Yuna, and he's gone!
