Well, just a while ago, I experienced anger.. In quite huge amounts too. Since there's not many to share it with around, I think I'll release it here. Plus, I'm not expecting much replies to this as well, yet I want people to know what I am thinking at this point.

Sorry, Moderators, if this shouldn't be here... But then again, it's the spam coliseum!

Earlier on, I was playing an online game. It is a team-based game, and would rely very heavily on team work, and personal skill to achieve victory. For a moment, we seemed to be doing that well, keeping the opponents in check, and getting stronger at the same time.

However, at a later point, this particular player aired his displeasure. He complained that the team was useless, and some other stuff I can't remember clearly. All I remember now is that it angered me.

Well, it provoked a response from me. I argued in response that I saved him a few times back earlier..

His next response caused my anger to peak. I started an argument with him, which evolved to a point where he decided not to help the team one bit, instead, helping the opponent team. Yet, I wanted the reason for us to lose is because of his behaviour, so I egged him on.

Ultimately, it came to a stage where the team loses entirely. By then, any chance for salvation was lost. It was then, I unleashed my anger on him, scolding him. He did give some replies as well, but the game disconnected at the point...

Right then. That summarises the entire episode.

One thing's for sure. I know full well that I should have been more cool headed. I shouldn't have engaged him into such behaviour, or ignite the entire argument.

Yet, now that this has already happened. Here I am thinking how I should have scolded the guy more harshly.. Cruelly, as well, I must add. If I had already started something, see it to it's perfect ending, I must...

I admit it sounds rather evil though. In fact, to be honest, I would love to have people openly declaring similar sentiments, claiming the guy is the one at fault, etcetera, but I guess I know the answer to that myself. :awesome:

You do get some muppets on online games. If it is a console online game where people use headsets I just tend to ignore them... When I was younger played online games on the PC which, like MMORPG's a little bit (though I only ever played FFXI for a bit) I might find myself saying something in response, but I wouldn't trouble myself or those around me anymore than that. If we were in a team I'd either suggest plans or carry out the plans others had without arguing. If someone became a jerk they usually got killed by a tiger anyway while they wandered into the woods in a huff.

On consoles... Just to give an example... I remember just a few weeks ago playing the Uncharted 2 beta online.. It was my first time playing it, doing co-op missions, and I just happened to have an asshole on my team. He died and I didn't know how to heal him, and neither did the other guy I was with, and he was yelling at us for being "f***g noobs, don't be so stupid etc". He died for proper until we got to the next checkpoint. From then on he kept being really bossy and saying things like "you twats better check behind us and kill those f****g people coming over the bus, or I'll kill you myself".

He later said "sorry if I'm coming across as a prick, I'm a nice guy honestly. I just have no time for assholes who don't know what they are doing. You just really annoy me".

Well I'm sorry it was my first time playing. :sad2: It was very tempting to lob a grenade at his ass and watch him explode as I shoot him in the head, but I couldn't be bothered.

That's just an example, but it happens all the time. It's bad with text speaking games, but you can choose not to read what they say.. With headsets though you hear it and have no choice not to, unless you mute them.. But doing that might hinder you as a team and you might not hear him when he decides to act nicely.

Yeah this is spam I know... I just felt like typing that out because I'm an idiot and I forgot 4 sentences in that it was spam, until now when I just remembered. .

Well he had it comeing the dude should have just worked with the team and not should have acted like a dumbell! You didt realy act in the best for your team but its not all your fault.
