Their new cd, Love, was just released for free a few days ago. I believe an actual physical release you can buy in stores will be out in April.

If you have heard their first two cds, We Dont Need To Whisper and I-Empire, and liked them, then you will like Love. It has 11 songs and has a few of the songs that sound similar to their older songs, but they added alot more electronic and symphonic parts into the music, plus trying a few new things. I like their music mainly because the lyrics tend to be written well and the music gives you have uplifting/floaty feeling. Its good music put simply.

I heard of them first when a buddy of mine asked me to burn one of their CD's for them.

I wasn't really a big fan of them, but I heard their song called Distraction which was one that I really liked. A buddy of mine introduced me to it and said it reminded him of me and the girl I was dating at the time over the summer. Kinda cool song, but I still really haven't gotten into much of their other ones unfortunately.

Angels and Airwaves??? i fucking love them!
angels and airwaves are somthing different from what i would normally listen to, i think i wouldn't like them as much if they where not Tom Delonges band and there connected with Blink 182.

in terms of how good the albums are, We Dont Need To Whisper is superior to I-Empire and at the same time I-Empire is far superior to Love.
im not saying I-Empire of Love are bad albums but We Dont Need To Whisper had somthing different, somthing special, somthing Magic about it(or it could be the lyrics are so good because Tom Delonge was off his tits high on Pain Killers at the time he wrote the album:D)

i also saw them live during there UK leg of there I-Empire tour twas a very epic gig i advice anybody on this forum to see them NOW.

Hmm, interesting take.

Truthfully, I cant choose between WDNTW and I-Empire. I like some songs a ton on both albums.

WDNTW
1. Do it for me now
2. Star the Machine
3. Good Day

I-Empire
1. Heaven
2. Breathe
3. Life Line

LOVE
1. The Flight of Apollo
2. Soul Survivor
3. Epic Holiday

Im not a fan of Blink 182 for the most part too so I didnt think I would like them, but they are really good.

I also think I-Empire and WDNTW have equally good lyrics.

Nah, Im more of a Blink 182 fan. They were a big part of my teen years, loved them so much. I just couldnt really get into A&A, I had one of their albums, listened to it and then sold it on.

i can see where your coming from when i first heard Angels and Airwaves i was like Tom made an pretty shitty band but i kept listening to them and they just got better and better

actually its AvA:PTom Delonge figured V is an upside down A and that it spelt his daughters name so he used it to abbreviate angels & airwaves

im too much of a Tom Delonge fanboy

One more thing Peeps

After the general disappointment of I-Empire, LOVE is awesome. LOVE is what I-Empire should have been, and a lot of the songs from it sound like improvements on past tracks.

Definitely, the best track on LOVE (despite its stupid title) is "Epic Holiday". Brilliant song.

After that, I like "Young London" and, even more-so, "Hallucinations".

Great album. I feel a bit guilty for getting it free from them.
