An awesome idea for an FF7 game

I had a ummm a revelation probobly a month a ago for a FF7 sequel, it's Reno's game and you play it on the Nintendo Wii yeah i know Playstation may not like that.
It's kinda a combination of Oblivion (in that it's first person) and Grandtheft Auto (well it kinda speeks for itself really) your Reno and you have complete freedom (you could even quit being a TURK and like start a Chocobo farm) the combat would be alot like Red Steel in that you would move and turn with the Nunchucku extension and wack your baton with the real Wii controller and perform Kick Combos with the D pad and a button, and steal cars or planes even take part in boy races (have little idea how the controls for that would be) hey please put forward an opinion of this i'd like to see if it's a good idea or not, thanks.
 
It sounds more clunky than an actual good FF game. It will probably turn out like Dirge of Cerberus. I like the concept of it, but it would be better if you could create your own character and enter the world to choose what you would be. Giving it more of that FF feel.

As for vehicles, none. Sure, you can have airships, but that is about it. Heh. It would be quite funny to see a Chocobo jacking, though.
 
sounds ok i guess but it isnt Final Fantasy- like in surprised that Durge of Serbus is classified as a FF
 
"Durge of Serbus" is classified as an FF game because Vincent Valentine is one of the main FFVII Characters. I actually think DoC rocked and while it would be very interesting to have a game based on Reno, I think that would be taking it just a bit too far lol

Y'know, I can actually imagine Reno on FF COPS!

Shinra guard 1: Please, sir! Drop your weapon! You're coming with us!

Reno: What? All I did was cut up that ****ing Choco Billy ***hole because he wouldn't charge me nothing for that Gold Chocobo!

Shinra guard 2: Hmmm... sounds reasonable. Do you have a Chocobo license?

Reno: WHAT? I'm not made of gil! Get that ****ing camera away from me! And I demand to have my face blurred!

Next time on FF COPS, we'll take a look at the latest at the disicration of Besaid Temple and find out what happens when Kefka hasn't been taking his special "medicine".

Hmm... Maybe I'm taking it too far. Though, you have to admit, it's great for publicity. But, I DO like the whole idea of a Reno based game. They haven't done enough of those lately.
 
I think they should just stick with the Vincent spinoff. x3 I do hope no other FFVII characters spinoffs pop up. I'm addicted to Dirge, and I believe its all they really need. If they made one with Reno[or any other character], it'd be a waste of time and money, tbh.

But, yeah, nice idea, anyways. C= I like the whole concept! But it does sound a bit OTT[IMO], but the imagination has no limits. Heh.
 
Sounds like a cool idea but i doubt they will make one, If i had to choose ill go for cid cause to me he had a cool story and he was the second main character you control after cloud get into a coma.
 
there's a game on the mobile and it's FF7 Before Crisis and u play with Reno in it, I have it but it's in Japanese so I have problems

Err, isn't that more like an American RPG? "Creating your own character" doesn't sound like Final Fantasy at all.
 
My idea is peoberbly a bit borring and i think has been mentioned somewhere else on the web, but anyway. I think it be intresting to explore the issues of the next generation (in FF&) and how the worlds changed since the current game and to have some other bad guy threatening the planet once again. RPG. havent really got the game play details worked out much. there are still stories to be explored im sure its just finding them.
