Note, I've never played the game, but DA-UM! Just looking at Al-Cid makes me want to be more interested in the game.

I really love his character, it's so attractive how he treats woman and stuff <3

Does anyone else like his character as much as me?

I love that image of him! Al-Cid is awesome - easily one of my favourite FFXII characters. Although I would still put Balthier before him.

When he does appear (and I do wish he would appear more because the screentime he got didn't seem to do him justice at all. >_>), you have to love that accent of his. I wonder if all Rozarrians have that accent in Ivalice. I quite like how he talks as well - smoothly, yet straight to the point.

I'm not sure what I think about him having his female assistant following him, not speaking a word and carrying his sunglasses in her - well, it looks like her bosom. I suppose she is just a faithful partner I guess.

Even though Al-Cid wasn't a part of the direct quarrel between Dalmasca and Archades, it seemed like his empire had little to no influence, which I didn't understand. I didn't see anything special in him, but then again, there really wasn't enough time or dialogue to get to know or understand him at all. But I would find it hard to believe that Rozarria had that small of an influence, even though Al-Cid did express his concerns.

When I heard him speak, his voice reminded me of Brother. If I didn't know any better, I'd say it was the same voice actor, but I never did research it to find that out.

All corniness aside, I like him as a character and wish that I got to see more of him in the game.

Yeah, I know I'm comparing 2 totally different personalities, but it seriously sounds like the same voice actor. But either way, Brother is awesome.

Oh Dan, you and I have such different opinions that it's shocking. Luckily this isn't a "Brother" thread otherwise I'll be tearing apart how annoying and oddly incestuous he is in FFX-2.

Count me in the fangirl club too! Balthier and Al-Cid together are the two things that I like about FFXII. I still don't like how small Al-Cid's role is. The party could have at least visited Rozarria to discuss battle plans with him.
