since i'm new here i don't exactly know how to post a poll ((i only know how to do that one tthe clerith forums)) but my question is.

which name do u like beter?

I like the name Aerith - it sounds much softer and lighter, much like Aeris' personality.

I believe Aeris and Aerith both mean the same thing in Japanese - light, or something like that.

When I talk about FFVII, I use Aeris, but when concerning KH, I always use Aerith. I'm just a perfectionist that way.

Well they both mean the same thing, its just that there was a translation problem and it was translated to Aeris instead of staying as Aerith (as it has in Kingdom Hearts). Whether is was deliberate I'm not sure, bt I still prefere to refere to her as her original name, Aerith.

I've done that too on my latest playthrough. Tis a nice change.
