adding pics in posts

If there is a thread on this already, just let me know because I searched the forums and didn't find one.

Ok. So I wanted to know how you add a photo to your posts. I have tried before, but none of them showed up. Any help will be appreciated.

Get the URL of the pic you want and wrap Image tags around it eg: take a link like this one: http://www.principalspage.com/theblog/wp-content/uploads//2007/11/chocolate_milk.jpg

and put {IMG} in front of it and {/IMG} behind it,

but use these brackets: [ ] instead of these ones: { }.

alternatively you can just click on the insert image button (the one with the mountain and yellow background and just copy and paste the URL in there.
