Abortion - Should the Father Have A Say?

I think men should have rightful ownership of women and lead their entire life. They should be able to say when they can get up, and when they can eat their food, and when to be forced to have sex with. I also believe men can say when the baby should be aborted. Women should not have rights at all on this. Their body is not their own according to the "good" book.

I obviously am joking. Me? I'm pro-choice. I believe that as long as the kid is in the womb, it's quite fine to abort it. To me, it's just another mouth breather, and these days we as human's seem to be overpopulating as it is. I have no feelings towards life, that isn't life yet.

The man obviously should not have a say, though should be able to provide feedback, but ultimately.. it's the lady's decision. The man should be completely free of whatever the lady chooses to do. If the woman uses a man to produce his offspring for money. Then a man should never be entitled for child support. If the folks are married, then divorce, and the child is above the age of... 5? Then child support .. yes.

Though deciding whether a fetus should live or die, that again is up to the lady. (you heartless woman you  )

Of course the man should have a say, it takes 2 to tango baby. If you are not planning on having any children, then use condoms or the woman should be on birth control. It's really that simple. I'm all about planned parenthood anyway. Life is a beautiful thing and if you want to create life by welcoming a baby, have it all planned out so you can be prepared and not have to make a hard decision about whether or not to keep the child if you think you aren't ready. At least that's the way i see it.

The problem is, people can get pregnant even when they're using two forms of contraception, perhaps even after being told they can't have children at all naturally. :/ If people haven't been careful, I feel more negative about them having an abortion since they're then being disrespectful and forget the importance and sanctity of life, but it's more difficult when people have done everything they can to prevent getting pregnant but do anyway. :/

^ I have never heard of any cases like that so i don't really know what to say regarding that type of situation. Especially if the girl is using birth control pills o_O

It would indeed be a hard desicion to make, but personally, i think everybody deserves a chance at life so i am against the whole abortion thing.

That's all fair enough. :)

I have two friends who've both become pregnant whilst on the pill, and a friend's sister became pregnant whilst using a couple of birth control methods. The whole idea terrifies me. :lew: Luckily they both wanted children! :) But it must be very hard for those who can't face the idea of being pregnant, who do everything they can, yet conceive children - and know their partner is passionate about children. :(
