So I turned on X-2 a few days ago, for lack of nothing better to do. I'm currently on chapter 5, been following the "100% in one game walkthrough" but because I missed resting in a chapter or something I didn't get the scene where brother spills his guts to barkeep. So I missed out on say, .3 or .4 of a percent....

Anyway I can make that up? Like conquering Via Infinito or the Den of Woe?

I don't think so. I'm almost positive you need to get the actual scene to get that percentage

And this really sucks because you can't skip dialogue or scenes so I missed out on a lot of percentage on my second playthrough *sigh*

I don't think so either. I use to have the guide and it seemed to be very important that, to get 100%, you had to do everything that was there to be done, and that nothing could make up for it. One of the annoying things about FF10-2 that prevented me from loving it too much. They really shouldn't have been that picky.

Sorry.

actually there is, it's called restarting the entrie game...

bad joke i know, but that's the only way you can get the 100%, what's more if you join new yevon, then you can only get 99% for some reason, if you join youth league then only then can you get the 100%

Unfortunately you can't make up the scene somehow. I know I missed that scene on my first thing along with something as simple as not talking to the moogle in Chapter 1 during the Yuna impersonator chase, and it was all the way back in the first chapter, which it was way to late to fix.

But with the beauty of New Game Plus, you can keep all your equipment, so get your Iron Duke and Mascot Dressphere and you can get through the game a 2nd time in an alarming rate. Sucks, I know, but it'll have to be a 2nd playthrough to get your 100%. Best of luck!
