OK... so I just finished the FF12 storyline.

I thought that you could continue FF12 - history after you beat you-know-who and get the wrap-up storylines and credits. But it seems that all I got was a " the end ".

Is it normal that you continue all the hunts and stuff AFTER you finish up the regular storyline or should I have gone through all the hunts and THEN progressed to bahamut?

I haven't beaten Bahamut yet. I stopped right before him to finish up everything else because every other FF game I've played has ended immediately after beating the last boss. It stands to reason that this one would as well.

Yeah I usually end up finishing everything before I fight the final boss, this time is no exception (partly because my game freezes at that part and I can't do it even if I wanted to). It doesn't really matter what order you do them in, but you can't save after the final boss.

When you leave for Bahamut you are given the option to save since you will not be returning.Just save somewhere else before you go.I finished the storyline and watched the end,and then went back to my save and am trying to complete everything.I've logged nearly 15 hours so far,and my levels are 81-83,and there are still battles to be waged.Of course, when you're level 80 the last boss is a breeze,so you can finish the battle and watch the ending whenever you want!!!

Guys, there's kind of an unwritten rule to use spoiler tags when taking about game content that could be something that someone else doesn't want to know about (ie. bahamut). For example:

Bahamut was da shiznit!!111

Just an FYI.

Every decent final fantasy before this one did just that why wouldnt this one do the same?

in all the final fantasy once u beat the final boss he games over... thats why ur suppose to do everything before u get there... lol

i have not finished the game but i dont think it should be like that why cant you just keep roaming around even after the storyline that would be a lot better

I did mine after the whole storyline ( before going to Bahamut ) and when I was doing some of the hunts - #'s 10-20 I think it was - and the monsters had well over 10k life. Do monsters get stronger as you do or something?
