A Masculist Movement

We as people killed chivalry by marketing our culture towards these movies.
Good, chivalry was stupid and sexist and the knights we've idolized since the Victorian era were mercenary cutthroats and good-for-nothing bluebloods.

OP, it seems like your real issue with this isn't necessarily the exploitation itself, but rather the double standard that seems to be applied to men's rights. "True" feminism can be seen as equalism, as it seeks to make the rights of men and women equal. Though it seems some people are only concerned with the female side of things.

It's good to draw a line between fanservice and exploitation. You can have sexy men and women half naked in your entertainment - but the key is whether they also have a personality/character/development.

When it comes to exploitation, I think the core issue isn't related to either sex. It simply that we value appearance more than anything, which leads to unrealistic expectations and influences stupid people.

This.

My major point was that it happens to both sexes, but people only bother to point it out, or complain about one side of it. At least most people do. It's like the whole racial stereotype thing. Lots of shows still use stereotypical representations of Asians, but using stereotypical black people will cause a giant fuss. It's about the double standard that is present.

And there is one. Several of the posts in this thread have demonstrated it. Brushing off one side of the issue doesn't help the other one. Women and men both suffer in the media, sometimes at their own sex's hands.
