What did you think of Aerith's (or Aeris's) death?

Personally, I wanted to beat the crap out of Sephiroth for doing such a thing. Then again, he decided to get back at Cloud for it, knowing that she is the most precious person to him.

Her death choked me up. And when Cloud had put her into the water alone as a funeral and burial of a sort... That made me cry even more.
 
And then when she sinks into the water, when in reality, Cloud shoud've drowned with her because he was right beside her when he let her go. That scene just makes so much sense its unbeliveable :P.

But yeah, Im sure theres a athread for this already, but anyway..

I hated it, Aerith was one of my main characters, and she died. Oh, the emotions I had to smash my PS.

Aeris didn't deserve that death! But no, bastard Sephiroth had to do just that!

Are you sure? Because when I checked... There was no thread on this. ^^;
 
ok im going to get booked for pseudo modding hear but - Theres already a thread about this in the FFVII section - y'know the game where Aerith death actually occurs :P

My feelings about the death are there.

I think square wanted you to hate sephiroth for killing aerith but it back fired because sephiroth ended up getting a lot of fans.
 
And Im one of them. But don't confuse me for a Sephiroth Fanboy. I just like his character a bit more then the rest of the FFVII cast, other then Zack of course.

And, ha ha. I didnt even realise this was in the VI forum. A mod'll probably move it.

And calling Seph a bastard... Prepare to get flamed by the actual fanboys. I bet their plotting something right now.

That's coz you're in the FFVI section, not FFVII :P

Aerith died in VI to... wow i though she just died in VII... oh well any ways it cut me so bad that aerith died thinking bout it now still makes me cry :(

yeah beating yourself hurts... just pay someone else to do it for you then cause some one beat you up ask for presents from your parents of something (economical think :) )
