So after seeing that my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 wouldn't make it through next-gen and was beginning to even struggle with current-gen games I decided to make the jump up to a GTX 770 (4GB edition). My 460 actually still holds its own surprisingly well, but even so the difference between it and the new card is night and day. To showcase just how big a leap it is--especially where next-gen gaming is concerned--I recorded both cards running 3DMark's popular Firestrike benchmark and put them side by side. The results speak for themselves.
I used a camera to record the video so that screen recording software wouldn't affect the GPU performance.
