I keep thinking it would be fun if my two friends could be Yuna and Paine. Except then running around would be hard to organise.. ehn. You get the idea. xD
This would be good with a Poll, buuut that option hates me. So.

Would FFX-2 be good/better if there was a multiplay option?

No...it wouldnt work at all. Final Fantasy games don't work like that at all, never have done, and never will do really. There are other things that could be worked on which would make X-2 better, but this is not a good solution.

To be honest I don't think any Final Fantasy game would be fun with two players. IMO Final Fantasy games aren't action packed enough for multiplayer. I don't think the battle system would be very fun with more than one player and running around would probably get boring too.

So as it is, I don't think FFX-2 would be very fun to play as a multiplayer game.

unless it was online and you could still carry on the game without the other 2 it just wouldnt work, you'd like all need to play at the same time and Id get pissed off if i wanted to play and the others didnt or some shit

I'm sorry, but what on earth are you talking about? I don't remember anything like this in FFIX, seeing as FFIX was a matter of well playing the game like all the other past FF's have been played.

There is Lisa, you can have someone else fight in battle with you FFIX is '2 player' apparently, can't say it's something I'd ever do or could see working, I like to be in control of my whole party, I get annoyed at guest characters in XII not doing what I want, never mind someone sat in the room with me that I can yell at when they are attacking with Eiko and should be giving me the heals

I guess it would be hard when fighting trying to co-operate - especially the idea of sabotage *teamkill*. But then characters would be easier to level evenly, especially if multi-player mode turns came at the same time.

Final Fantasy X-2 is waay, waay, waay different from most Final Fantasy games so don't think it really matters much. [Don't remember Squall singing pop concert songs rofl.]

Think SE were aiming for a Fun kind of RPG and guess friends controlling Paine and Rikku would add to that style more, think you can already have somebody else ( 2plyr )
control Final Fantasy IX characters in battle, so guess it wouldn't be too bad ?

Yea you can set a controller to The character you want On final fantasy 9 Go to Config and you can do it from there I didn't know about it until I played it for the 3rd or 4th time

I just don't think it'd work, I like to be in control of my team, or know that some bean isnt gunna fuck up and heal them self instead of me (ololol Bowly ), I get abit neurotic over my FF games, people cant eve lay their OWN files when Im around, Im like WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! Thats probably why no one I know play them actually, I just tell them they are doing it wrong and take over xD

We have only 3 in FFX-2, and I don't plan to share them with anyone

I don't think this kind of thing works in RPG style games. Maybe with ARPG.
Like for example in KHII. I sure would like to have such a thing there, or at least be able to switch control between characters.
