Im 50/50 with this film. I havent seen it yet, but Ive been looking at the trailers and reading up on it.

Im disappointed as I thought the old characters such as Selena and Hannah would put in apperances and they dont. Its a whole new cast of characters. I was looking forward to discovering what happened to them. Also, why have the American Army taken over and not the British Army? I dont get that. Oh and I like how in the UK trailer when the American Sergent is asked if "it" ever comes back, he responese with "We kill it." ... Oh dear ...

But there are 4 reasons why Im looking foward to this film:

1: Its a Brit film and I love our British cinema.
2: The first one scared me crapless!
3: I love the fact Robert Caryle is in it ^^
4: Muse's Shrinking Universe was used for the trailers, so that gets double points with me ^^

All I know is that it's coming out soon. I haven't kept up to speed on it at all, so that's all new to me. So WHY are the Americans taking over?? Fair enough help, but taking over? That makes me a sad panda  Anyway, I loved the first and I'll most likely love this one. I'm not fussed about the main characters from 28 days not being in it though

Simplistic explanation.

American Army > British Army.

It's the fact that London was annihilated, but now it's clean. And since some of the American Army still stands, they decide to start a new civilization there. ;D

Anyways, I really want to see this film. I need more carnage in my life and, well, this will deliver. God, I love the first one and the sequel will make me jump for joy.

The first one I thought it was so scary it gave me so many nightmares, so I'm really looking forward to this movie. I just watched the trailer and that even looks scary to me. Though they say there is a secret with the virus I'm like really excited to find out about

Well an SAS soldier can last longer that your average soldier...

Maybe, but that doesnt mean they would be able to wipe out all the zombies. Maybe a good few, but I doubt they'd be able to take on an entire nation.

^ your right, i think i went too far with the SAS taking out a whole lot of zombies... lol

Nah, dont worry bout it. Just thought a random SAS team saving the day was abit ... well random! We know what would happen in your version lol.

I see promise in this film. Like Pooley, I'm not bothered by the lack of past characters, as I'm sure it'll... be for the best. Hopefully.

I've not seen any of the trailers all the way through, so I haven't seen a great deal of visuals, but from what I've seen they've done alright.

I'm just hoping for more brutalities. Quantity was good in the first, but I want it to be outstanding in the second. xD

yeah but they were bad soldiers... they lacked discipline. The good guys were the ones who stopped them... not the zombies. well the zombies did, but thatnks to the good guys

Yeah they were bad soldiers, killed by zombies. I dont see where the good guys bit is coming from. Are you refering to the zombie soldiers? I wouldnt class them as good guys for killing the bad ones as they were doing what zombies do best, which is killing and eating people.

I saw the trailer for it when I went to see Fracture the other day (also a good film, but that's a different matter) and it looks much like a more gory version of Land of the Dead. Not that that's a bad thing because I liked that film too. The thing I don't understand is how the virus got into the safe zone? Is it just like Land of the Dead, where the zombies break in, because the impression that I got was that they carried out experiments again...

From the trailer I thought the infection came back when they found I think its Robert Caryles wife in the film, as she has teeth marks on her body. But they say that the last known carrier died 6 months ago. So I think she came in contact with it and for some reason its taken ages to take effect.

Im not quite sure, want to see the film more now to get to the bottom of it!

Went to see it last night, and it wasn't too shabby.
I thought that once the virus got out into the safe zone in London it went a bit quick though, and especially quick when everyone escaped into the main part of London. But still, it was extremely good. I can't comapre it 28 days because I forgot most of that xD.
Oh, and the ending is to be expected really ;).

I seen it Saturday and Im shaken by it. The amount of gore was unreal and unexpected as the last one was no where near as gory, it was focused more on emotion then anything IMO. Robert Caryle was amazing as ever, as was the guy who played the American soldier who helped the civilians.

I was bit peeved at the fact that Wembley Stadium was shown, Muse are playing there at June, was like a kick in the teeth for me :(

Yeah, ROb Carlyle was amazing I thought. It was more of an action movie compared to 28 Days though I thought. I liked the nice little surprise at the start in the cottage, when it's actually the middle of the day .
It makes it a bit unrealistic with Wembley in it, seeing as it was only ust being built in the first one.
