So I was flying through my friends list and noticed one of my friends with a friend with a flashed/modded xbox was online (which is very rare for him) so I check his latest games and bam, it comes up with FFXIII!

I've already found a torrent up for it at one of my private torrent sites. It's legit. It's been leaked. Personally, I'm not going to waste a duel-layer DVD for it. I'm sticking to my word and not playing FFXIII. :mokken:

Yes, and I sure as shit wouldn't waste 3 of them on it.

And you only get banned for it if you're dumb enough to be connected to Xbox Live while playing it. Some moron got my Xbox banned like that. -__-

Besides, I eventually buy my games anyway. I rather like having the case for them. :mokken:

I don't think it'll hurt sales or anything with it being leaked, since it can get your Xbox fucked up and all that. It's leaked far earlier than I expected though, I have to say.
 
What a surprise. This was always bound to happen anyway. I'm not really excited about the game that much - never so that I would contemplate downloading it through a torrent rather than buying it.

Oh well - 9th March isn't far away anyway. I'm sure people can wait.

11 days? Blimey, I wouldn't be suprised if it was technically 12 days before actually, considering how long the game could take to download, but if that guy continues playing FFXIII online like that, I wouldn't count on seeing him online much longer, Vega. My mate got his Xbox Live Account banned for the same thing the numpty.
 
Which is exactly why people need to realize that if you're playing a burned game... DISCONNECT YOUR DAMNED XBOX FROM THE INTERNET! Stupids... :ffs:
 
Haha, of course it was leaked, even if it is quite early... xD Seems like everything is. Interesting to see though... can't say I'd play it where you can see it on Xboxlive tbh... :ffs: Doesn't seem smart to me xD I don't know a lot about xbox but I'm sure there's a way to disconnect from Live or something... I assume...

I don't think I'd risk my xbox either.. if... I had an xbox. Yeah.

It'll be released soon anyways <.<

By the way, even if you disconnect, your xbox logs a time everytime you get an achievement anyway, so unless you set the clock forward on your xbox, then microsoft can catch you out, and even if you do set it forward it will auto correct when you connect to live.

not necessarily if it gets sold from a store and its a legit copy you dont get banned Microsoft have liek some way of telling.
take Halo ODST for example it was leaked out in french video game stores across france people playing it didn't get banned

i have a indie vidjagame store near where i live they have been known to sell games up to a week early lets hope they sell XIII early:awesome:

I've seen people get banned for playing legit copies before release, it's some crap to do with Legal Release Bond or something like that I dunno, maybe only temp bans, but still, banned none the less.
 
I've been playing burned games for a while now. Never once got banned while I wasn't connected to Xbox Live. The only morons I see getting banned are the morons connected while playing a burned game before the release date. :mokken:

If the game passes ABGX and its not played before release than MS don't usually suspect anything.

The only cause for the recent banwave was because of the most recent update.

But still.... I wouldnt even play FFXIII offline... I love my Live too much.

But do I love FFXIII more? Hmmm... o_O

It was always going to happen, Assassin's Creed 2 and Modern Warfare 2 were being played a while before it was out then the next big release will be out early then the release after that etc.. Bad things happen when retailers send out copies to early. The surprising thing was how early it was released, but meh, I'd rather have it on the day tbh.
 
That just goes to show what you can download off the internet. People can get ahold of absolutely anything these days, I'm getting Japan sent it out or someone bought it from there and uploaded it. Since it come out there on December 17, 2009. But, I am not fully sure, it could be fake?
