Famitsu.com has posted the Final Fantasy Type-0 screens that appeared in this week's issue of Weekly Famitsu. Here's what you may want to be on the lookout for in the shots.

The Final Party Members
The last three Class 0 party members are Cinque, Trey and Cater. Cinque wields a heavy mace. Trey attacks from afar with bow and arrow and can also use a charge shot. Cater uses guns that can fire rapidly and charge for a more powerful blast.

More Sub Characters
The masked character is the King of Concordia, who values himself above his people. The other character is Yuzuki, head of one of the guardian groups in Concordia.

Group Attacks
Earlier in the week, we detailed the game's group attack system, where all three members of your party combine their efforts to attack a single foe. This depletes your current character's ability gauge.

Prior to heading out on a mission, you have to select to have access to either summons or the group attack. The disadvantage of the group attacks is that they're weak compared to the summons. The disadvantage of the summons is that they instantly kill the character use use to summon them.

Bahamut
The latest summon character is Bahamut. Not nearly as attractive as Shiva.

Multiplayer
As previously detailed, multiplayer is purposefully limited in Type-0. Other players can come into your game to fight alongside you, but only briefly. It's possible to extend your group play sessions by gathering SPP, or Security Player Points, from fallen foes.

Lv.54 Kurasame
When you're not playing actual multiplayer, you'll be supported by computer-controlled NPC characters. Included in the bunch is Kurasame, your powerful teacher

There's a penalty for having powerful allies come to your aid, though, as your earned experience gets cut.

Relic Terminals
Finally, some details on character growth. Here and there throughout the game world, you'll come upon "Relic Terminals." You can save at these terminals and also use AP, or Agito Points, that you acquired during level ups to obtain new abilities for your characters.

I wonder if she'll end up with a sword through her abdomen :hmmm:

Don't cry, Loz. Maybe one day you'll appear in something that will be actually worthy of note.

You know, Xenoblade has exactly the same feature...just a coincidence, I'm sure.

Prior to heading out on a mission, you have to select to have access to either summons or the group attack. The disadvantage of the group attacks is that they're weak compared to the summons. The disadvantage of the summons is that they instantly kill the character use use to summon them.
Ouch, that is one hell of a penalty. Summons are going to need to be godly to justify that...

That seems a tad redundant...not to mention extremely annoying. You can play multiplayer, but you've got a time limit based on these SPP things? That could lead to some annoying cut-offs right in the thick of it...why not just let people play together normally? :hmph:

There's a penalty for having powerful allies come to your aid, though, as your earned experience gets cut.
No exp leeching? It's White Knight Chronicles all over again :gonk:
...although that WOULD make the game extremely easy, and I doubt it'll need overpowered characters to do that, as FF games aren't exactly challenging these days...

Finally some info on Cinque! I guess that is all of the class Zero characters revealed now. I want to see some official art of Cinque though. Yuzuki looks too much like Celestia but red ish. That new bad guy really does look like Loz from Advent children... Bahamut looks pretty weird as well. Guess we can safely say Cater does not have a shotgun. xD

@Martel / Martelovski you are so right :ffs: I actually hate people always comparing FF chars, but in this case I was like shit the resemblance is too noticable...also agreeing on the summons..they need to be DEMI-Gods ! Otherwise you lose a freeking char and its still limited so damn its almost not worth it if they arent God-Like.. maybe thats why they decided to have such a big crew to begin with.

Also character growth at these relic save points..does that mean ONLY at those points you can gain abilities or also ingame/menu? I bet menu as well, must be..

Aerith and Loz.....Thank God Versus have orginalé chars so far :wacky:
And Bahamut's design is pretty awesome imo.

:gasp2:

Yeah, she looks a lot like Aerith :ahmed: SE needs some new face models. :wacky: Aerith's hair and face is much prettier, tho. :mokken:

How does Trey and Cinque know each other? I see them together a lot, are they brother and sister? :hmmm:

Lammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmme :ahmed:

What would be the point then? People won't use them then especially if the summons are weak :/

The summons were only worth using in the Type-0 demo because it was either get one hit or sacrifice the character for something stronger instead. But the time that they last is really not worth the sacrifice. I'd say the group attacks are a much better choice regardless if the summons are stronger. You get more out of it and don't have to waste any phoenix downs reviving people (although there was no group attack option or phoenix downs in the demo :hmph:).

I like Cinque's design. It really does look like she can not hold that mace though xD. It will be interesting to see how she uses it in battle. Schoolgirls with such badass weapons. xD They all look fun to play as in some way or another. Cater's magic gun looks pretty cool. :ryan:
