Pass the goosebumps, please. I'd like a second helping.

FFF NCAA TOURNAMENT CHALLENGE

I've started a group for FFF members on ESPN.com's Tournament Challenge. Pick the winners of all 63 NCAA Men's Division One Basketball Championship, and you will receive the respect of your fellow members, some rep, and if you win the whole shebang, $10,000.

You will need to create an account with ESPN.com if you don't already have one (it's very simple).

I encourage everyone here to join up, regardless of how much you know about NCAA basketball. Believe me, from my experience, the less you know about the game, the better you do with the brackets.

Group Name: FFF Bracketology
Password: setzer

im in. all i have to say is that they better not screw UCONN and not even invite them to the tourny, cause they're gonna be my pick to win it all

All right, the game is up and running. Let me know if you have any trouble with anything, and I'll help where I can.

For those of you not completely NCAA Tournament-savvy, the teams will be placed into brackets on Sunday, March 14th. Then you'll have until tip-off of the first game of the tournament, which is on Thursday, March 18th, right around 12 PM EST, to fill out your brackets.

Any other questions, feel free to ask here, and use this as a discussion thread for the tournament in general. (Post count section, so do put a bit of thought into it. :monster:)

IT MUST BE MARCH

In what could be considered the first major tournament upset this year, the Atlantic Sun Conference's #8-seed, Kennesaw State, knocked off regular season champions and #1-seeded Lipscomb. Kennesaw will go on to face the winner of today 4/5 matchup between Campbell and East Tennessee State.

In Patriot League play last night, #8 Army gave #1 Lehigh all it wanted for 35 minutes, before the Mountain Hawks pulled away with a 65-46 victory to move on to face American, winners over Navy, in the semifinals. On the other side of the bracket, more madness ensued, as the 7-seed Holy Cross Crusaders took out the 2-seed, Bucknell. Holy Cross will travel to PA to face Lafayette on Sunday.

Action in the Big South resumes today, as all 4 top seeds won their opening round games on Tuesday. Coastal Carolina, the regular season champ, will face off against #4 UNC-Asheville. On the other side, NCAA Tournament regular Winthrop will travel to Christiansburg, VA to take on the defending Big South Tournament Champion Radford, who survived an overtime scare against Charleston Southern.

Arch Madness also gets underway in the Missouri Valley Conference, as the First Round match-ups in that conference will pit #7 Missouri State against #10 Evansville, and #8 Drake against #9 Southern Illinois. The Northeast Conference also tips off their tournament tonight, as regular season champ Quinnipiac looks to dethrone 2009 regular season and tourney champ Robert Morris. The Bobcats of QU have never advanced to the NCAA Tournament.

Four tickets to the Big Dance were punched in the last 2 days.

In the Ivy League, Cornell wrapped up the regular season championship with a win over Brown. As the only conference that doesn't play a conference tournament, this puts the Big Red into the Dance. Other winners were Winthrop in the Big South, East Tennessee State in the Atlantic Sun, and Murray State in the Ohio Valley.

Last chance to fill out the brackets is Today (Thursday) So you best get to filling out your bracket before its locked!

:gasp: 5 MINUTES!! MY FAVORITE DAY OF THE YEAR!! It's like Christmas, New Year's, a birthday, and the 4th of July, all rolled into one.

LET THE MADNESS BEGIN!! :rage:

Wow. All i can say. I thought Notre Dame was going to make it far. They were looking pretty good and they lost in the first round... its not looking good but its only the start.. such a close game!

I had the feeling going in that this would be a Madness-heavy tournament. Sure enough, a 14, a 13, and two 11s advanced. Brackets around the nation are sure to be busted.

Marshy is currently in the overall lead, but Jay has the most possible points remaining. So it's still anyone's ballgame.

Wow. Kansas gets upset. It effect my final 4 but not my final pick which pushes me ahead of in PPR but i'm behind by 20. Apparently, some autistic boy in the news has picked every single pick correctly. Amazing.
