Ach, I heard about this.
What's caused the fires?

Different causes since there are about 18 fires going on. Most of the fires near San Diego were caused by the dry weather and 70 mph winds. And when the fires started the wind just blew these tiny embers miles and miles and therefore started more fires elsewhere. We're practically surrounded by a sea of smoke. It's....a rare and scary experience really. -.-

Everyone in my village of Fallbrook have been evacuated and I can only contact them through Facebook and stuff.

The sad thing is, all you see in the papers here is about how Tom Cruise's million dollar house is under threat of burning. There's nothing about the people actually affected. =/
At least not in the tabloids anyway.

I might be gone for a while. I can't say much but I'm typing this during an evacuation. Fires all around our home. Might not be on for the next couple of days. I'll see you when I see you.
