[06/09] First look at Final Fantasy Type-0 box art, new gameplay footage

Japanese cover sticks to tradition.






Square Enix provided a look at the final box art for the Japanese release of Final Fantasy Type-0 during a program aired on Nico Nico Douga today. The artwork follows the series’ Japanese tradition of logo-only box art (though, the background of the logo is moved down a bit).

Square also aired some new footage, showing off the world map, Class Zero characters Trey and Cater in battle, a fight against Gilgamesh, and more. View that, courtesy of Miladesn, below.

Beautiful!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love the artwork...and Gilgamesh is BAWS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope they release it on PSN as well and then ps3 compatible. I look forward to the ratings/reviews etc...and hopefully they will localise it asap.

...Oh my god is that Battle on the Big Bridge I hear? Yesssss!

Eight looks awesome, and Cinque looks positively psycho, which melike, and I love the PSP cover. I played the Japanese demo, and though I have no idea what the fuck I'm doing and am randomly selecting options and hoping for the best, I'm enjoying it, and can't wait to play and actually know what I'm doing.

This Is The Final Fantasy Type-0 Collector’s Edition


Square Enix have revealed the collector’s edition package for the upcoming Final Fantasy Type-0 today.

The image to the right is the entire package, which will go for a whopping 12,760 yen in Japan (that’s about $165). What’s inside?

That’s the game, a soundtrack, and a postcard book.







A standalone version of the game’s soundtrack will also be available for purchase. Final Fantasy Type-0 will empty people’s wallets on October 27th in Japan.

You know I used to be such a huge fan of FF and its art covers/pieces and cgi art etc.. so I have bought some posters in the past and even one walkthrough book of FFX-2

I loved the art in that book and I have drawn some pics in the past as well....I love the designs etc, but I never bought figurines and I'll never will..not my cup of tea...

I would buy that collectors edition even for that price...the art pieces in it are memorable..well if SE doesnt screw up in the future..
