The Hyperion -- from a logistical standpoint its a Semi which means that (practically speaking) you could reload it with a clip instead of individual rounds. It would have been nice though to see Seifer upgrade his weapon each time that you fought him

I would love to participate in a fandub! I have a few years of prior acting experience and VIII is my favorite game of the series. Please let me know when you get the youtube channel up and running and I would be more than happy to audition. I also have experience with video editing if I...
Is it just me, or does V take the cake for outrageous names? Butz (ok, so it maybe Bartz, but even that is no Cecil or Firion) Zeza, Tycoon, Jackole, The Great Forest of Mua??? And some of the dialouge is equally outrageous: Fwa Ha Ha anyone? Ok, I know that the translations don't always do...
Hmmm...well my favorite would probably be the black mage...elementals just came in so handy against Lich, ZomBulls, etc, and Nuke was terrific, plus the sprite for them is Iconic.
I dont really have a least favorite, though maybe it would be the Monk as class change grants NOTHING new

I moved out when I was 18 for school, got married at 20 and have lived away from my parents that whole time. I love my parents, and its always nice to visit, but it was essential for me to get out on my own and learn how to be independent. In some ways I think it even strengthens your bond...
Interesting, I had never thought about using Selphie....cause I never really liked her. As far as limits go I always found Zells, Squalls, Quistises and Irvines to be the best. True Selphies CAN be highly powerful, but there is nothing fun about sitting there hitting "do over" a million times...
I too got the hundred necessary. However, I did it in the cave right before the final save. I recall having to do something ridiculously tedious...like barely tapping jump and then attack, unequipping combo abilities, etc.

Okay, yeah, I know that there are no real party choices, as extra members are added and subtracted against your will. However I want to know what your party configuration was, as in who did what. Mine was:
Firion: Sword and Shield. Did not really know any magic except for Holy: I fancied...
Squall Leonhart - Skw-all Lee-on-heart
Rinoa Heartilly - Ruh-no-a Heart-tuh-lee
Seifer Almasy - Say-fer Al-Mass-see (Emphasis on the Mass, I used to call him Sef-fyer when I was younger but later realized that this was contrary to the spelling)
Quistis Trepe - Quis-Tis Trehp (rhymes with...
Hmmm
I really recently liked The Third Translation by Matt Bondurant. If you like Historical Fiction then anything by Harry Turtledove is quality. And if (like me) you are a bit of a Star Trek nut, then I recommend very much some of the Lost Era novels, particularly The Buried Age by...
The late Michael Crichton. Great Sci Fi stuff that actually had strong scientific components. Anything by Grisham is good too (though legally sometimes untenable) and other than that I love the classics.

If I recall correctly I leveled up Valor as I went, and leveled up Wisdom and Master considerably in the Steamboat Willie world, where everything is black and white...lots of weak Heartless for wisdom, and plenty of nobodies for master. Final I think I leveled in the course of collecting synth...
My first was VIII and it is my favorite. I assume it is because I played it first -- I have played most of the rest and intellectually know most of them to be superior, yet VIII will always hold that top spot for me

Ultros (Hillarious)
Gilgamesh (Same reason)
Seifer (Squall's counterpart and probably the most sinister of my villains)
Rufus Shinra (Legitimately evil)
I assume this is what you are asking for. This party has a decent amount of power (even old Gilga could put up a decent fight when he wanted...
Yeah, it is just a sort of diversion (although Wakka's weapon and reels are nice). Still, for a mini-game is pretty deep, what with recruiting players and with teaching players skills...I enjoyed it

However, you would lose all memory and feeling for the ones that you love, thus making this very much a catch-22.
I suppose though that if you were orphaned, raised to be a paramilitary mercenary and were faced with a world in constant warfare...yeah, it would be worth it

I too give Squall Diablos. I think another important thing is to try avoid giving GFs who have the same ability set to the same person. I.e., I think it is possible, with proper planning, to give everyone a different GF that has Initiative. There is a GameFAQs about it if you are interested...
I had gone about three or four years without touching one, and then randomly got the obsessive urge to own and play them all. I now own all of the ones I care to and am in the process of playing through them. I am in law school and find that (when I can) a 15 minute chunk of playing time is a...
Well I suppose that I agree with you to an extent -- and that is part of my point. I would say that many think of FF's as largely closed universe. People pick their favorite and least favorite, etc. But, like you say, this is a series that we deal with, with recurring themes, archetypes and...
