Not as fussy as I used to be, but the texture of a food can make or break a plate for me.
Can't eat mushrooms
Can't eat large[ly chopped] onions
Can't eat [slimy] tomato
Can't eat pears
Can't eat bananas
Literally can't eat corned beef (it'll probably kill me)
I can get funny with meat, but...
I'd say... no. I'm just a little more articulate and clever about it.
That doesn't mean to say I've learned nothing over my years; if I wanted to I could impart wisdom, be approachable, civil, social and suchlike - but this would be borderline manipulative in purpose. For the most part...
-_-
I used to get a really, really dry forehead during my final few years in High School. It got pretty bad, even after applying varying types of moisturiser daily... nothing would cover it nor improve the situation! D: My face is much better than it was though, so for that I'm very...
You're not wrong to want to pursue this guy and support him along the way, and I don't think your mother is wrong with her concerns either - so many people in his position don't get the chance they need to get back onto the rails, and unfortunately slip down avenues of ill-repute. She's...
I wouldn't credit him for his motives either. He wanted to "become one with Sin" to destroy Spira, and consequently cure it. Mental illness or no, that's pretty messed up.
However, as an antagonist he is enjoyable. I'm not just looking at him slaying countless Ronso single-handedly, or even...
Enemies re-spawn once you enter a new 'area' or two. They may not all re-appear straight away, but backtracking through a cave etc is a sure way to level up.
About purchasing the Blizzard spell, you need to obtain it from a vendor and purchase the license on the grid. Remember when you first...
Jaaa, I feel that mostly in disk 1 & 2 where his MP is horrendous. After hitting 50+ though he gets somewhere in the region of 300 MP, which coupled with Half MP makes using Ethers few and far between. Probably a better character choice for the more significant battles in the game.
Oh, and he...
!!
After a certain point in the game (mainly once you get the Light Robe - Half MP ability) Vivi's one of the better sweep attackers. Not only can he target all enemies and inflict ailments like Poison, it's VERY easy to hit 9999 damage with the likes of Flare. Max damage isn't terribly hard...
I found the Adamant Chains and Snowpetal sets to be a bit weird. Surely you'd expect a mage to evade, and a physical fighter to block?
Anyway, I prefer Adamant. Evading is something I find myself doing more often in a fight, so eh, the rewards are there.
I'd disagree with the above poster. If you're having trouble with Braska's Final Aeon, I strongly suggest training around Sin for a while before anywhere else. It'll be some time before you can breeze through such fights as they do have a fair bit of HP, but the AP reward is pretty solid...
Ahhh, depending how far along with that you are then, you might want to try training within Sin before tackling Omega Dungeon. You're a little safer inside Sin as you don't encounter Great Malboro, Mimic or Defender X/Y/whatever.
Won't take long though, I'm sure. Try getting some...
I noticed that Balverines are tougher, and there are strong 'bandit' class enemies that can knock you about at any point in the game... that's about it. They increased the volume of enemies you encounter at any one time, so I suppose that accounts for an increase in difficulty.
Admittedly...
You need to progress somewhat following your return to Cocoon, before you can head back. In fact, you can only go back once you hit the final dungeon - .
But I would recommend sticking around Pulse for a bit - the monsters on Cocoon are quite tough.
The Besaid treasure is a Wisdom Rod, which has Scan and Magic +5% or something along those lines. It's a common name for staffs, but I never saw another combination like it on the field (unless you make one).
As for Yojimbo, it depends how you've used him in the past. Never dismiss him, make...
