By the way.. Interesting trivia here
"Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy IV
Main evidence here is in Final Fantasy II in Deist there is a young boy called Kain, who is presumably the son of the Dragoon Ricard Highwind and wants to be a Dragoon one day. In Final Fantasy IV one of the main...
Well.. Perhaps the Cetra appeared long after the events of X-2. Nevertheless the creator's intention was to connect both worlds. It may be poorly made but atleast there is a decent connection between them. And since they are so far apart in time, the events of the past in FF7 could have happened...
Ye but its an insignificant connection. It is basically fan service. Also people rumour that there is a connection between final fantasy 4/2. There is an NPC in ff 2 that is named Something Highwind that has a son called Kain Highwind. Also there is a connection betwen 8 and one of the earlier...
Hello. Yesterday I decided to do some research on the infamous Enix Franchise, Dragon Quest/warrior. The reviews for those games really hyped me up for the games. Now I downloaded Dragon Quest 7 for the psp and I wonder if any of you guys played this game. I would like to know what kind of RPG I...
Hmm okay.. So I will just say a few things w/o really giving you a definite answer:
Final Fantasy 8:
- Easy
- The minigame is quite good: Triple Triad but personally I dont like it.
- A story that connects two different timelines in a very subtle way. Even little things between the 2 timelines...
Alright. For a better persuasion I need to know which of the games you played the most recently and when did you last play them because they are also 2 of my favourite games :)
I am not looking forward to playing like a 100 blitzball games for Wakka's ultimate weapon.. Oh god! I actually dont mind the laughing scene and the chocobo racing but I cringe at the idea of having to dodge 200 lightnings again. Nevertheless I will only be getting a ps3 next year so I still...
Last game I finished was Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater. Awsome, fantastic game nothing else to say about it. Right now Im playing Final Fantasy II and then Ill move on to Breath of Fire II.
I think you are going too far by saying that Final Fantasy XIII is worse than the first 3 NES games.. Thats a bit silly. Final fantasy 1 you had no idea where to go, you had a random encounter for each step and the story was non existant as well as character development but thats understandable...
Well.. Currently Im suffering from the same issue. Oh well I dont think anyone can tell you what to do, I tried that road before. The suggestions always bore me even when I try them and I end up stuck in the same situation all over again. Sometimes when some relatives ask me to spend the weekend...
I didnt say it was entirely story.. I even said that if the gameplay is horrid no matter how good the story is I wouldnt play the game.. And you are really looking for gameplay in JRPGS? They are all almost the same gameplay wise. To me 70% story 30% gameplay, Also if JRPG's are storydriven...

Well regarding Kefka..Sure its a good point but Kefka wasnt boring and his character was awsome, also he provides more philosofical insight. I used to think that kefka sucked as a villain because he lacked motivation but after reading his background on Ultimania I was pretty...
Oh well.. I guess I thought I would be happy but hey no matter how much I dont like some of your posts you are still a forum member, thus a part of this awsome community :). So I guess I will miss you a little bit. Good luck with your life I hope you sort things out and come back with some more...
@Ballade I understand how you would think that Exdeath(his music is badass and he is cruel and all) is a very good villain but to me what makes a good villain are motivations! Exdeath has none other than I AM EVIL I DESTROY AND KILL! But the whole idea of how he appeared is actually quite...
