I tend to avoid the easy route when fighting them, like Malboro can be easilly killed with degeneration or lion heart but if you face them old school using magic and summon it really gets the fights interesting, come on Tri-point only has 22000 HP while behemoth can reach the 70000 mark.
i got three light pillars in a row once, completely destroyed. The normal enemie in this game are MUCH more difficult than the Ultimecia Castle Bosses:
Malboro, Ruby Dragon, Snow Lion, Hexadragon, Behemoth are the toughest enemies that can trash Ultimecia Bosses anytime.
All the party are a bunch of freakshows, Zidane tails doesnt make him that special and so my theory stands, more considering that this chapter in the FF series is a reference to all games and maybe, just maybe Dragon Ball.
It is the same the summoner history was tailored according to the characteristics of previous FFs summoner Jobs as this game was a tribute to all previous FFs, as Alexandria is tailored to the all female reign in FF4 (Wich i cant quite remember)
It was done for the jobs of both Garnet and Eiko, just look at previous FF summoner jobs and you will see the horn, and in Zidane case doesnt make sense at all (Unless you agree with my theory)
Not like it one bit, it sure looks gorgeous but so did FFXIII and even tough is one of the more beautiful games i have ever seen it didnt conpensate the lack of everything else, and so if SE still think we buy games just for graphics then they will never return to their former glory.
The use of juctioning is for prepare your characters for battle, but since the battles are so easy you DIDNT had to draw lots of magic to beat the game (Unless your facing enemies in Island closest to hell), my point is that if the issue was the constant draw of magic you just needed to not draw...
You didnt had to, the game was so easy that juctioning just finished to break the game, the limit breaks are what completely destroy the game difficulty, later you coul refine items and cards into magic and the card game is awesome.
9 was too simplified, in FF8 you can survive attacks like level 5 death and malboro bad breath, in 9 you can avoid death only with special equipment, the license board is a pain in the ass, having to use license to equip weapons and armor is the dumpest thing i have ever seen.
The battle system is not that different from FF 7 or 9, the difference is that in FF8 instead of using MP the magic uses a stock system like you have 20 cures you can use cure 20 times, believe me this game doesnt deserve the bash, FFXIII on the other hand....i can only say is the only FF game i...
