Hmm, every other place has said it's a new game in the Lightning Saga. Yeah that more than likely means its FFXIII-3, which is completely fine by me. But it also could be something different. Plus with them saying they just started work on it, I doubt it will be out anytime soon.

It isnt a matter of it being more or less acceptable. It's what they feel and think the game will be like. People say they know something is going to be great based on past experience of the series. It's not necessarily claiming something as fact but making a judgment based on past experiences...

Actually I believe there was a video that showed how the gods related to each other, and I believe it's the same Gods in Versus. I may be mistaken though. I wouldnt mind if they did and it wouldnt surprise me at all.

Some of those are legit but Assassins Creed and Call of Duty are not. While I like the Assassins Creed series, the two most recent games were pumped out as fast as possible. Same with Call of Duty. Same paint job with a dive mechanic added in. Duke Nukum is just a disgrace period.

This actually looks interesting to me. Sadly the controls are going to be god awful. Same problem as Chaos Rings. The controls are just terrible and I absolutely hate digital analog sticks for being inaccurate and floaty as well as having your hand get in the way of the screen.

If it's cancelled and then reworked to not have ties to FFXIII, I'd be alright with that. Ugh comparisons to Skyrim turn me off. As long as it's similar more to FFXII and not a western RPG then I'm all up for something new. I dont want a bland, bare bones story with uninteresting characters, 1 british voice actor doing all the voices, and lame combat ala skyrim, elder scrolls, etc.

Really....this is exactly what I dislike about the modern FF fan. First off asking people to do something to unite and follow you against conformity is contradictory. Secondly, saying that those who like Final Fantasy XIII arent "true" Final Fantasy fans is completely ridiculous.
