Mother and Child rice bowl has been my favorite to use, since I discovered it. +1000 HP, +30% Exp, and +50% chance for enemy item drops. On top of that, I have some moogle charms equipped, so there's even a further bump in that experience gain (+20%).

This was the most infuriating part of the battle. The fact that she can constantly jump and be all over the battlefield didn't help whatsoever. Haha. Aside from that, it was a battle I wasn't at all expecting at that point in time progress-wise, so the challenge was nice.

Keep her dead. Unless a "new game +" is done, where there are actions that can be taken to save her, but only then. Other than that, it'll ruin the story. Her death is pivotal.
