Question:
Regarding the save anywhere and autosave, are different save files generated? I'd hate to have an autosave overwrite my manual save because I specifically wanted a back-up plan. IE: Approach next area with strat A, if I don't like the result can I reload and try strat B. Does...
I ordered the CE. My version specifically comes with the Steel book + standard CE items. I would have liked some DLC, but I can live without it in my pre-order if it means I don't have to get it from Gamestop, which I didn't.
Now I understand where all this hatred of DLC comes from, I really do... However, for a moment, accept the fact the process of of DLC has become industry standard. A person just coming into the gaming industry probably sees this entire thing in a different light. Consider my next statement...
The PSP ports are all quite good, I'd recommend them to anyone. There are changes here and there, but I think they are improvements. Especially in FFIV & After Years.
With my pre-order awaiting in a mere 3 weeks, I can skip the demo and enjoy the entire experience! Unless there is an in-game perk I will pass. (hope there is not an in-game "I bought a demo" perk)
I find it interesting that there are so many conflicting comments on a HD remake of FFX. I mean a game company finally decided to do a proper HD remake of a game many people loved. Most PS2 games are getting the "Upscale and call it a day" treatment, we're getting something much more refined...
Alrighty,
In an attempt to instill some positive influence towards this game. I plan to start listing all the changes that are confirmed by the development team, or are already implemented into the game.
Let's get started with
The Job System.
February 2012 will be bringing about the new Job...
Actually I would call XIII and XIV, 2 bad games released back to back. (Assuming you go by general reactions). Personally I really enjoy XIII. XIV though is a lot harder to enjoy, and requires a certain frame of mind. (not counting the drastic changes made to the game post-launch).
Looking...
SE had a lot of solid PSP releases this year. I for one am still playing FF IV: Complete and D012. Both solid titles that offer a lot of value for what they cost. It's nice to see them get some credit for a change, they have had a rough couple years.
Rosa
Cast Paralyze/Hold, then Reflect on self.
Cast Silence for good measure.
Pelt Rydia with arrows until she dies.
Rydia maybe gets off a weak fire spell before being paralyzed.
Yes it is kind of silly that when killed by manikins they can not revive, despite that I enjoyed the story. If you read into all the extra bits, they even explain some back story to the original Warriors of Light from the original FF, along with theories about Chaos from that game and how the...
A lot of rage in this thread I see. How about we wait until it hits the market before forming such rock-solid opinion. The way you guys are speaking, it is as if you already played it and know it is a completely broken game. Screenshots and trailers are marketing designed to target specific...
Quite interesting. I guess I missed that about the battle engagement system. Sounds like a wonderful mix between seeing monsters on the field and the random battle system of older FF games.
I wonder, is there a chance to prep for a fight once they materialize?
That city is downright beautiful. I should really start replaying XIII soon in preparation for this. Notice the Behemoth materializing out of nowhere? It almost looked triggered by an alarm after being caught.
