Oh Conor, thank you so much for asking! Well my favourite FF game is definitely FFIX! No questions asked. It has the best characters out of any FF game, they are really quite loveable and not shit in any way. It also has a really nice story. The battles are a bit slow but that's ok, it's still fun. I like the graphics but a lot of people don't like that the characters have been turned into midgets, I think it adds charm though, but that's just me! My next favourite I can't really pick, it's between X and VII. I really like Cloud and I hate Tidus...he is an annoying little bitch but the rest of the characters in X (bar Wakka) are really good. I think VII has a better storyline though but X has much better graphics obviously.

You didn't ask but my least favourite FF games are FFXIII for obvious reasons and FFVIII because it is boring and shit and has no reddening qualities!

You will have to stay in one spot I designate and not move while I do it however because otherwise you will be burnt to death

Tbh I would say you could have my copy of UC1... except I haven't finished the last chapter =[ I am a fail at finishing games, especially the FFs, I tend to get bored when everything gets tedious and difficult right at the end and just... stop playing.

Hmm... well the single player makes slightly more sense if you play UC1 first. Though I played UC2 about 4 months before I got my hands on a copy of UC1 and I picked up the story pretty quick. Depends on if you're really anal about doing everything in order. UC1's single player is slightly better than UC2 as well
