I ran out of ammo first time I played it, the game punishes you so harshly for almost any wasted ammo

Well you play a lot of CoD( a game I hate) so I don't think you would be very good at conserving ammo. I am still convinced that the lead singer of this band is a girl

I used to be that way too, games like that absolutely terrified me and I couldn't play them. There are a few bits that are very startling, and other times you get snuck up on a bit but nothing too bad. I hear F.E.A.R. is worse for it.
