Hey, nothing beats free money. I wish I could get away with that somedays, because some of those damn kids just get on my nerves.
Yeah, we usually have out meetings first, that way we can work on what we discussed during practice and know somewhat what we are doing before we even take the field to work on it.
We usually have a meeting before practice starts, so even if it's 5-10 minutes that people are late, they will be missing out on something, and making the team have to do extra running for being late.
I was always one that followed the "if you are gonna be late, then let someone know" rule, so when I was late, someone would know, and there wouldn't be an issue.
The practices are really in the morning. It's not so much that they showed up 20 minutes late or anything, they all were only like 5 minutes late, but it looks bad strolling on into practice when people are already stretching and getting ready to start.

Well, the season has officially started, and already half the team doesn't know how to show up on time to the start of practice.
Looks like all of the freshmen are ready to work, though, so that's a good sign.......for now anyways.
Well, if he doesn't deliver tomorrow, then he is going to get a giant kick in the ass. He is supposed to pick me up around 7:30-7:45, so if he isn't there and I have to get a ride from my mom, there is going to be hell to pay.

It's stupid the fact that I have to wait for this idiot. Especially when he is new, so he should WANT to be at practice, so that he can learn what he is supposed to be doing.
He is an assistant that we hired this year. He missed the coaches meeting last week (which he was supposed to give me a ride to, mind you), and he hasn't called me back yet to organize a ride for summer.
At least I have the head coach as a fallback, who drives right past my house to get to the school, so if I have to, I'll ask him for a ride. I'd really rather not though, since that will make me have to get up about 30 minutes earlier than I want to.
Oh, well then you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
As for me, I get to make another call to the head coach and organize a ride for practice Monday, since the guy that lives down the street from me doesn't know how to answer his phone, or check his voicemail.
