FFX-2 what to do? about to start FFX-2 Perfect game

Hey guys!

Its been a long absence from when i last played a ff game. The last one i played was FF13 and well....after being a life long fan let me say it was just downright dissapointing. So now with THAT game outta the way, i only have X-2 at my disposal.
Im tempted to start this game on the basis that i want to get a 100 percent perfect game with all the dresspheres, accesories, weapons etc
THe confusing thing about this game is that it requires a few play throughs to get all the items and a 100% playthrough.
Just having a quicklook through on a few guides i found that these items are what you cant get in one playthough:
- Key to Success - Enterprise - Minerva's Plate - a few garment grids (someone care to tell me which ones?) - Gippal's sphere
Please add more items that are unable to be obtained in 2 or 3 playthroughs

So what should i do? get all the items stated above in one playthrough and then aim for 100% game on the second.
Btw, are all the items stated above passed over in New Game +?

I don't think it's necessary to get all of the items for 100%. I'm aiming for the same thing at the moment and it seems % depends more on what you do and when! I've 'completed' 10% of the game and haven't even started playing the main story... I've visisted each location after being given freedom in Chapter 1 and taken part in two quests. Many of the quests aren't available after a certain point in the game.

I'd recommend getting a guide! The Piggyback ones are excellent. It'll ensure you don't miss something really pedantic...and X-2 is VERY pedantic.

Make sure to deviate from the path as soon as you start the game as Rikku and speak to the moogle... I missed that in my first playthrough which made everything afterwards feel utterly pointless.

I don't think it's necessary to get all of the items for 100%.

no you dont need the items to get 100%. There are a few items where you need to choose one or the other e.g if you get the key to success you cannot have the mascot dressphere. hence, you play it through once to get the key to success, play new game plus where key to success will be transferred to your new game and then play the game to get the mascot dressphere.

I want to know what other items there are as my first play through will be just to get the items/dresspheres/spheres that are mutually exclusive. My second playthrough will be for 100%
I have already got the Official Guide from piggyback with me now, but its very vague and doesnt seem to be as extensive as the online FAQs.
Surely there are some ff nuts like me who are obsessed with collecting everything in ff games right? please help me if you can !
