~This RP battle is my first attempt at starting an RP. So I'm not sure how advanced it'll get. If the mods here won't mind judging, I'll continue with the rules. My character's profile is in my signature. Just click the link 'Mizu Profile'.~

1.First come first served. Up to three others may join in.
2.Please have at least the following about your character....
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Looks:
Personality:
Weapons:
Abilities:
(You can also post a link to your charcter's profile.)
3.One character per poster.
4.The judges will decide the winner whenever they think I character can't possibley fight on, or that they deserve to win.
5.Have fun! ^_^

So here goes the setting...

The mid-evening sun shines down upon an extensive forrest going in all directions. There are a few clearings spattered through, with one large river going through a corner of the forrest, streaking through down towards a range of mountains. There is a fair breeze blowing through the air, but there is also a hush through the beautiful flowered forrest. All the animals seem subdued, as if their waiting for something.

On the edge of one of the said clearings, a woman sits halfway up a tree, watching for any oncoming challengers. She hums to herself, fingering her tanto knife in her right hand, and her leather wrap armor over her torso, "I hope that a few challengers can make it." Her eyes sparkle as she looks over the terrain, trying to think out the easiest means of movement.

(We'll start when at least one judge shoes up, and there are three people who sign up. For now, please just post your profiles.)

Great for you to join, Wullfe. ^_^

What'd yah think of just me and you fighting if nobody joins after a few days? 'Cause I just thought, not alot of people seem to RP.

Yeah, I'll judge this one and hopefully, both Vegnya and Rhea will show up soon, too.

In case Vegnya and Rhea don't show up, I'd be more than happy for a one on one against you, miss.

I did talk to Rhea about this, and I think she was gonna judge too. And I'll keep checking back, but if this thread doesn't have anybody else, I will should be able to start the battle tommorow (it's thursday now with me), or on monday. (I might have somewhere to go this weekend.)

Yeah, give it sometime before the battle begins. It's up to you when it begins and all. You did create it after all. I'll hang on tight and come back when this officially starts, ok? ;)

(it's thursday now with me)

Yup. Same here.

(I might have somewhere to go this weekend.)

Sure, rub it in you and your fancy "Real life"... J/j, I work and attend school all day during the week, but I'm always on on nights and sometimes on weekends. However, I'll be sure to check back here often, looking forward to fighting you(r character that is).

~Sorry, Dark Fantasy X. Rule 3: One character per poster. I wanted an even number of fighters, but I've given enough time. Fight, BEGIN!~

actually i only referenced one, i will be kamui which was the first link, the second link was a bit of how i write battles and such and such, it just gives you an idea of how i post etc, and how i play out battles,

Kamui was walking along the trail, thinking how best see White throught, it wouldn't be easy he thought. The rain began to come down, and the clouds darkened over the forest, Kamui looked up into the blackening sky, as water hit his face,
"this seems familer, he thought to himself, pity, the wheels of time are in motion and they won't know what happened, once it begins."
He saw the forest, and began to walk in the direction, the trees providing cover as Kamui entered the forest, and notices the clearing that seems no water had touched, how could that be he thought. He went to the edge, and looked through the trees
"It begins," he whispered to himself "But at what cost and end is not foretold, pity really,"
Lighting began strike the sky, and thunder was shaking the branches, as the rain came down heavier and heavier with each drop, and each flash of light that was shown into the clearing, showing the 17 year old boy, with a golden hilt sword, standing there, half hidden in shadows, covered in a midnight cloak waiting for things to begin.

Leki i think that would be you que

( ^_^ Hope you have fun battling.)

OOC: Goes doubly for you.

IC:

::A shadow can be seen darting through the forest, going from shade to shade, always remaining hidden in the dark. The figure moves as stealthily as one of the many hunters which inhabit the jungle, like a panther. The premature lightning flashing through the sky catches the forms attention. Finally, the ambiguous silhouette stops to rest at the base of one of the larger trees.::

::The tree is old, at least a few thousand years. Though it towers above the rest of the foliage, its scarred trunk, and marked branches show its true age. The tree is easily fifteen stories tall, and as wide as two city blocks. Throughout the years, many animals have made this their permanent home. From the shadow cast by this landmark, a pair of mismatched eyes sharply survey the lay of the land, immediately taking in each and every detail, no matter how small or inconsequential it may appear.::

Wullfe: (The tension is so thick in the air... The woodland creatures are all still, as if they can sense the tremendous battle about to take place...)

::Wullfe quickly calculates what would be the best option to engage his enemy or enemies.::

Wullfe: "I don't know how many there are..."

Wullfe: (However, it would be highly unlikely that one person could cast such an aura of gore about so peaceful a place. My best guess is that there's at least two or three seasoned veterans about these parts. If I run around like an amateur, than it's likely that I'll either fall into a trap or play right into their hands... both highly unfavourable outcomes.)

Wullfe: "I can only do the honourable thing..."

::He whispers an incantation quietly, and at once, his surroundings seem to be charged with electricity. The air around him can be seen splitting in two, as a deadly bolt of lightning falls from the heavens momentarily bathing everything in white light, eliminating all traces of shadow. As soon as the lightning subsides, the great tree, which once stood as a benchmark of the forest, now lies in a heap of ashes and burning timber, reduced to kindling and so much firewood. Kneeling at the base of this small fire, is the caped frame of Wullfe. He kneels, bathed in sunlight with his eyes shut tight.::

Wullfe: (I saw them... in the momentary flash from the lightning I summoned... I counted two... two beings not native to the jungle.)

::Slowly, he stands, and talks loud and clear, sure that his challengers can hear him.::

Wullfe: "If it's a battle you want, then come and face me... there's no need for you to hide in the shrubbery like common vermin..."

(At first, I only saw the links. ^_^ Just gimme time cause I might not be on when you are.)

Mizu slowly stood up, tilting her head. Her eyes faded abit as she called up a few orbs of crystal clear water to float about here, in case she needed them as a shield, as she smelled the ash and smoke coming from the struck tree. The smell of wood burning made her skin prickle. Mizu patted the pouch at her side, just to reassure herself that she still had her herbs of power. Then she came forward, coming closer to Wullfe with graceful steps, "I won't hide like vermin. Only waiting for all you slow children to show up." She could see Wullfe, but only smell Kamui. Her wolven sense of smell came in handy. Her silvery wolf ears lifted up as she inspected Wullfe.

Mizu drew out her short knives, her knuckles also glinting with barbed metal, "And I won't back down, from either one of you!" With that her orbs over water hovered above her head, sharp wind whipping up around her, where none had been before. Her braided hair flew backwards as the a sharp, icy shoot of water went flying at Wullfe, the other one aimed in Kamui's direction.

::As soon as Wulfe heard the womans voice, his eyes immediately scanned her person, his mind registering everything about her. In the few seconds it took for her to arrive before him, he had already estimated her strengths and weaknesses. At the same time, he lowers his body, just a bit towards the ground. His entire frame is tense, his muscles coiled like steel springs, ready to spring into action at a moments notice.::

Wullfe: (She seems older than I am... Perhaps more experienced?)

::As he heard her calling him a slow child, he relaxes and stands up straight, in a pose of utter comfort. He appears confident, assured of his victory.::

Wullfe: (I take it back. If my taunt of calling her vermin upset her this much, there's no way she's more experienced than I am.)

::However, that was all the time he had for idle contemplation. By now, Mizu had prepared her attack.::

Wullfe: (There was a sharp drop in temperature... Does she manipulate the water and wind to attack and defend?)

::Exactly at that moment, the icicle launched by Mizu flies straight for Wullfe.::

Wullfe: (Icicles? Are you kidding me?)

::Wullfe shifts his weight to the left, and manages to easily dodge the razor sharp icy death. However, at the same time, he stumbles, and begins to shake.::

Wullfe: (What?! No! Not now!)

::Wullfe doubles up, and begins coughing, as he coughs, blood splatters from his mouth to the floor...::

Mizu had never liked to win by fluke or illness. Mizu let wind whip around them, blowing at Wullfe's hair and face, "What's wrong? I'd expect somebody who answered my challenge to actually be able to fight, not break down." She let the ice which went towards Wullfe to mist around them, "Are you hurt? Or perhaps just trying to lull me in? ...." She dissappeared into the mist to hunt Kamui, and give Wullfe a second chance to catch his breath and fix himself for a decent fight. It just wasn't like her at all to attack a fallen opponent. There was indeed a chill in the air where she had been, and mist seeped over Wullfe.

::Finally, Wullfe recuperates. Taking a moment to compose himself, he wipes the blood from his lips.::

Wullfe: (Tcha. I can't believe that my illness acted at such a crucial moment...)

::Temporarily lost in the mist, he takes a moment to gather his bearings. He steps forward with his left foot, and leans back on his right, taking the pose of a runner about to sprint. As keen as his eyes may be, they can't pierce the mist.::

Wullfe: "Damn. I didn't want to do this, but now I have no choice..."

::From beneath the folds of his cape, two small, silver coloured structures emerge from his back. They're two arcs. The closest thing they would resemble would be the bones from which the feathers of an angels wings stem. Through the haze of the fog, it appears as though Wullfe had just sprouted angel wings from his back. The wings seem to shimmer for a moment, and then all the fog around Wullfe dispels, creating a circular field of vision roughly five feet in width. At the same time, the ground around him begins to shake and shatter, as if pelted by invisible bullets. He capitalizes on this opportunity and dashes straight through the fog, and as he runs, the fog around him scatters, leaving only the crushed earth in his wake.::

Wullfe: (I've increased the pull of gravity on each individual droplet of water to such an enormous amount, that it can no longer remain suspended in the air. As such, it falls to the earth, creating small craters in the process... It's a rough solution, but it'll have to do for now...)

::At last, Wullfe manages to make it safely out of the mist, and immediately delves into the shadows to seek refuge. The last of the light showed his mysterious wings retracting once more into his back.::

Wullfe: (I didn't want to use such a powerful ability so early... This has tipped my hand, as such, she has the advantage...)

Icicles? that is my move, you fool mizu he thought, Kamui jumped up into the air, dodging the attacks from Mizu and chanted

yks eht morf niar sdrahs eci eht tel (to red this, red it backwards), ice shards began raining from the dark sky, it replaced the raindrops, and were aiming into the forest.

He went down and drew Shirakun in his right hand, "Its time to dance" he whispered to himself, his eyes going yellow, as his power began to accend upon his sword, as it radiated with a small portion of energy.

He saw Mizu runing in his direction, and attacked, his sword met a dagger near her head, Hello Kamui, "you are just a child, what a disappointment," she said, a second dagger came aimed at his throat, Kamui jumped back from the assult, away from Mizu.
"hmmm... not bad, but you forget something."
"Ohhh... what would that be?" teased Mizu back, at that moment, ice shards began to decend upon her, and Kamui shouted, "Heaven's chain!"
Mizu looked around her, "What the," the ice was drawing closer,
"You think that would work, she manipulated the ice shards, and aimed them back at Kamui, which met his beam of light energy that he had aimed at her.
"hmmm.... not bad Mizu, seems i could have some fun after all."
