This is a bit on the dark side. You have been warned.
The teacher asks her students to tell her about their day.
The room is full of silence as the teacher is left at bay.
After minutes of nothing being said, a girl in the white dress raises her hand.
“Tell me, Sally. How was your day?”
The teacher asked, as the rest of the class seemed like it were dead.
Little sally stands up to her feet, with a chipper expression plastered over her face.
“Last night daddy told me to climb into his bed -
He said do it or I’m dead.
So I did it teacher - I climbed into bed with daddy.”
The surprising revealing of Sally’s day last night shocked her class.
The atmosphere was so sharp, that it felt like cutting through glass.
Little Sally was an unique girl - she had no friends,
She spent her time at recess playing pretend.
She continued her story of her day:
“After that, daddy told me to leave.
He told me to leave so that he could grieve .
Mommy was killed last month, and it made daddy sad.
And when he became sad, he then became mad,
At everything that I did.”
Sally said rather timid
In poise.
The more she revealed her day, the more her teacher became worried —
Worried that she would be victim to her father’s morbid.
Actions in the time of sorrow.
Wiping away but a single tear,
Sally finished her story of her day.
“After daddy was done grieving,
He called me to his presence.
I was happy teacher; I thought daddy was going to be nice.
He hurt me.
I went to bed with scars on my arms,
And sadness in my heart.”
“Why doesn‘t daddy love me?
Why does he hate me?”
Her day was over.
Little sally came to terms that her daddy was lost forever.
She knew her mommy was now dead for an eternity.
She has come to terms of her life;
“Nobody loves me.”.
