so I got a wifi adapter for my 360, but I can't figure out how to make it work and hook into the wifi. Anybody who can help me?

I can't remember exactly how, but once you've plugged the adapter into the back of the Xbox, just go into the xbox network settings, add in your internet password, make sure all the IP addresses and stuff are correct and it should just work.

I do remember when I hooked mine up I had more issues and had to do all kinds of weird things like making a static IP address but I can't really remember how to do that bit :(

Is there anyway I can scan for it like it does on the wii? I have no idea how to input the IP address...

Isn't there an option in the Xbox Network settings to search for a connection? I could have sworn there was :hmmm:

I believe you can access the troubleshooter after you've failed to connect.

When we got Wifi for Xbox 360 slim, we just had a wireless router and then had the Xbox check for the connection. If a wireless connection exists, the Xbox should detect it. :)

You can try here:
http://support.xbox.com/en-us/Pages...x?step=walkthrough_content_2#WalkthroughStep2

Just press "next" when you want to see how to set it up from within the Xbox.

It will teach you, if you have the original Xbox 360, how to connect wirelessly with an Adapter. :)
