That's cool.. I got the game when it released but have hardly played it due to playing warcraft... >_< I can never seem to get away from it... hopefully i can start on it sometime kinda soon
 
You'll have a lot of fun with it, I am thinking of replaying it again, just finished it maybe about 2 months ago
 
Just do not attack the Wild Saurian in Dalmasca Estersand. It will probably kill you. I never attacked it, but that is because I did not have a deathwish.

Heeee, I did. I trained up a few levels, and thought I might be able to stand a chance. Didn't expected it to take 0 damage from my attack... killed me with 480 damage to my ass as I tried to run away. D'=

And you may find the start to be a bit slow. However it does pick up quite a lot later on. Make sure you keep on top of your training, too.
 
When you eventually do get to the point where you get quickenings, don't rely on them to beat bosses...takes a lot of fun out of the game.
 
Don't do what I did with the hunts is all I'm gonna say. I waited quite a while start the hunts, and there were times when I spent hours and hours leveling up.

By the time I did the hunts my levels were so high none of the monsters were a challenge at all. Even the Ghost in the Sewer only took a couple of minutes to beat.

I give the same warning about the very ending too. I mean....you do want to beat the game but you want it to be a challenge I guess xD That'll teach me to level up so much >_o

Oh well, enjoy it though, its a great game.
Sadly Ive barely played it due to work and university.
 
Uh, you can't make that judgement for someone else? There's some on another forum I know, who is an avid FFX fan. Loves the battle system in XII. So, you can't just claim that if you like the system in X, that you will hate it in XII. It's a challenge, and it's the first FF not to have random battles. I'm sure you'll like it though SkyFall, maybe the gambits will tickle your fancy?
 
GET him Rulia!! All I can say if your just starting out is give it a little while before you pass judgement. Once you start rolling with it I'm sure you'll love it!!:cool:
